For almost 60 years, not only in Romania but also in the southeast of Europe, IPIP was the only design institute for refineries and petrochemistry, and acquired a high prestige due to the recognized quality of its specialists and achievements. IPIP is involved in all revamping, retrofitting program applied in Romanian refineries. Today, with the worldwide demands for products to meet new environmental regulations, IPIP is focus to take measures to win an increasing number of clean energy units. The Shareholders' General Assembly, assisted by the Administration Board led by the President ensures the management of the activities. The Business Development Division is the interface with customers by offers, prequalification documents for auctions, institute presentation on Fairs and Expositions, and promotional materials, catalogues etc. The Human Resources Division is concerned with the working conditions and social relationship, general management at IPIP's level, personnel's professional orientation, reconversion and promotion, multiqualification and restructuring.
