SYLVANIA QUICKTRONIC EMERGENCY
BALLASTS enable an existing fluorescent
fixture to operate as both an emergency
egress lighting fixture as well as a normal
lighting fixture. During a power loss, the
emergency ballast automatically switches
the fixture to emergency mode and
continues to operate one or two lamp(s)
at reduced lumen output for at least
90 minutes.
The innovative QuickSwap™ wiring
harness allows for one-time wiring,
greatly simplifying subsequent field
maintenance and lumen upgrades.
These Emergency Ballasts can be installed
as part of a fixture by an OEM or added to
an existing fixture during a retrofit.
This series has dual input voltage (120 or
277V) and it supports many lamp types
and wattages.
Each SYLVANIA QUICKTRONIC Emergency
Ballast comes with the SYLVANIA Total
System Solution that includes primary
lamp ballast and emergency ballast
compatibility.
The optional End-of-Life Adapter (QTEB
EOLA TSI) is for T5 and T4 ballasts that
incorporate lamp end-of-life sensing.
A single pole test switch/charge indicator
accessory kit is supplied with each unit.

System Information
• Highly efficient DC/AC power conversion
techniques achieve the optimum
balance of maximum light output,
battery life, and reliability.
• The unit’s low profile allows it to be
discreetly mounted within the existing
fixture’s wireway, reducing its visibility
and protecting it from being vandalized.
If desired, two additional 1⁄2" holes in the
fixture channel can permit mounting of
test switch/charge indicator behind
fixture lens. The mounting centers are
the same as those of a standard ballast.
