Overview
The Gilmore Online Store for SMART Parts has been developed to allow you to quickly find and order
replacement parts for your SMART products. Our online store makes it easy to find replacement pens, power
cords, remote controls, battery packs, and projector bulbs for a large selection of SMART products.
If you are a Reseller, please contact SMARTResellers@gilmoreglobal.com, who will help you to set up your
account, making sure that you receive your discounted pricing.
This manual will provide instruction and useful information for navigating through the online store.
Landing Page
The Gilmore Global Kiosk is the landing page that all shoppers will be directed to from the links on the various
SMART websites.
This Kiosk provides you with the following options:

The ‘Shop as a Guest’ option is ideal for those that do not expect to return to the Gilmore Online Store for
SMART Parts often.

Select to shop in English, French (Francais) or Spanish (Espanol). You will immediately be redirected to the
Gilmore Online Store for SMART Parts:
Create an Account
For shoppers that expect to order products through the Gilmore Online Store on a regular basis, you have the
option of creating your own Account. This allows you to log back in at any time to review previous orders,
along with tracking active orders.

FOR INSTRUCTIONS ON ACCOUNT SETUP.
A window will open, in the language selected, where you enter your account information. This is ideal for the
shopper that intends to purchase additional parts in the future. You will be able to track their order, and review
past orders.

Once submitted, you will receive an email confirmation with your login credentials identified. You will be
prompted to enter their Username and Password to access the Kiosk.

SELF-REGISTERED USERS - Login with an Active Account
If you have previously created an account, you can login with the Username and Password assigned to you.
You will immediately be redirected to the Gilmore Online Store for SMART Parts:

RESELLERS: Log in with an Active Account
If you are a Reseller, log in to the Kiosk with the Username and Password that Gilmore has provided to you.
Once you successfully log in, you will be presented with various options within the Kiosk:
Services > Inventory
Within the Kiosk, you are able to view the Inventory Level or the various Parts.
You will see the following screen.

If you put a space into the Part Number field will provide you with a list of all inventoried items:
Shipping > Table
Selecting ‘Shipping’ > ‘Table’, you will see all North American destinations, along with the various UPS service
levels and transit times. You are also able to click on the ‘International Shipping Table’ link to open up an
excel spreadsheet.

Shipping > Tracking > UPS
Selecting ‘Shipping’ > ‘Tracking’ > ‘UPS’, the UPS tracking website will open up in a new window.

What you see when you login
Once you have been redirected to the Gilmore Online Store for SMART Parts, you will be placed in a view that
is called the ‘WebTop’ view. This is your online desktop that shows the accessible features on the store.

Security Features
During your use of the web application you may notice some security features. Once you have established
your session, there is a 15-20 minute time out feature that prevents your session from being used after that
length of time has passed without any activity.
Browsing the Products
There are a couple different ways to view the products on the store.
Product Categories
Product Categories are found on the left menu bar. Simply click on any of the categories to gain access to a
list of items in this product range. These links act as categories that contain all of the products on the store. If
you know the location of the product you are searching for, you can use these folders to drill down until you
find the desired products.
Search Function
On the top right hand side of the store there is a search field available. This will allow the user to search the
store, which in turn searching through each category, for a specific product if the part number or description is
known. The results of the search will be listed for easy viewing.

Categories & Part Diagrams
You will see a link within the Category block, which contains a link to open up a pdf. This pdf contains detailed
descriptions and part numbers. For example:
Placing an Order
To order an item, enter the desired quantity in the field beside the product, and then click the ‘Add to Cart’
button located in the bottom right hand corner of the page.
The items will be added to your shopping cart and the total value of items in your cart will be shown above the
Categories on the top bar (Checkout). Item quantities can be modified later in the shopping experience if an
error is made.
A thumbnail image of each product will be available for a user to view as an added measure to help identify
the correct product for ordering. A user can simply click on the thumbnail image to open a full image view.
Shopping Cart
Clicking the ‘Add to Cart’ button will bring you to your cart view. Here you can modify the quantity of the item
in your cart or clear your cart. If you wish to add more items to your cart, select ‘Continue Shopping’.
If you are ready to checkout, select ‘Continue>>’

Entering Ship-to Information
At this step you will be asked to enter the ‘ship to’ information. If the Shipping information is the same as the
Purchaser Information select ‘Copy Purchaser Information’. If the information is different you will have to enter
the details manually. The fields marked with asterisks are mandatory fields and must be completed before
proceeding to the next stage in the order process.
** PLEASE NOTE** The ‘Phone’ field in the ‘Shipping Information’ section must be entered as xxx-xxxxxxx (ex. 613-599-3852). Please do not use brackets or a 1- to signify long
distance.
At this time you are not committed to finishing your order. Click the ‘Back’ button to return to the checkout
page.
Address Book (for registered users)
If you created an account and logged in as a ‘Registered User’, you may Save the Shipping Information into
your Address Book.
To Add, Edit or Delete entries from the Address Book, select ‘Manage Address Book’:
When you are finished, select ‘Back’.
If you are satisfied with your ship-to information, click the ‘Shipping Details’ button to proceed to the Shipping
Detail page.
Shipping Details
On this page you will see when your order will ship. If you place your order before 15:00 EST, it will ship in 24
hours. If you placed it after 15:00 EST, it will ship in 48 hours.
On this page you are required to select a method of shipping. You can also specify additional contact
information if you would like to notify a third party of the order
details.

Click the ‘Order Summary’ button to finish the order process.
Final Order Summary
At this point of the order process you can review and make any changes before placing your order.

If you completed all applicable documentation (payment agreement, credit application), you will see the option
to pay by Purchase Order.
If all of the information displayed is correct, select the applicable Payment Option and click on ‘Submit Order’.
You will be presented with an Order Confirmation, which contains your Order Number, along with the following
links:
You will receive an email order confirmation within a few minutes of placing your order. Once submitted, no
further changes can be made. If there were any errors on the order, it is imperative that you email
‘smartparts@gilmoreglobal.com’ immediately to have the order cancelled and resubmitted.
Tracking information
Once your order has shipped, you will receive the tracking information via Email.
If you are a registered user, you can also log back in to the store and ‘View Past Orders’. The tracking
information will be displayed within your order(s).
Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification that the package is in transit. This order
confirmation will include the courier tracking number.

Return Policy
Gilmore’s Return Policy requires that:
Prior approval must be obtained from Gilmore Global Logistics Services, Inc. for all returns;
No returns will be accepted after 30 days from date of purchase;
All goods must be in their original packaging and not damaged in any way;
Returns must be packaged so as to prevent damage in shipment. Damaged goods will not be
credited;
Restocking fees (in USD) = $15.00 + $0.25/unit restocking fee;
Original shipping charges are not refundable;
Gilmore Global Logistics Services, Inc. is not responsible for the shipping costs incurred to return the
original goods.
