Rubber stands Installation 1 Find an appropriate tabletop box location for the device you will be installing: • Put it in a convenient location, such as a tabletop surface near a door or where remote controls might be found. • Power Over Ethernet (POE) products need access to a POE connection. • WiFi products need to be above or near a wall outlet to access AC power. 2 Insert the cable or power cord into the back of the box through the power supply opening. a Supported Model If you are installing an Ethernet device into the box, insert the Ethernet cable into the back of the box through the power supply opening (see Figure 1). About this Document Part Number: 21-0129, Rev C 2/3/2011 3 If you are connecting an amplifier, amplified speakers, or another supported audio output device, insert your RCA-style connector into the back of the box through the Audio Out opening (see Figure 1) and secure in place with the appropriate cord clamp (rounded or square) that is appropriate for your connector. 4 Rotate the box on a table with the opening side facing you. The rubber stands underneath the box can be opened and adjusted to rest the box more securely on the table. 5 Insert the device into the opening. Secure it by inserting two (2) screws, one at each corner of the box. 6 Refer to the your device’s installation guide to set up your device. Warranty This device has a limited one (1) year warranty on parts from the date of purchase. Control4 will replace or repair any defective unit. Return unit to the place of purchase for replacement.
