PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION (PSR): will resume Sunday, Dec. 7, with classes for grades 1-5 from 9:30 AM to
10:45 AM. Confirmation classes are Sunday, 6:00–8:00 PM
ANNUAL WOMEN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY: hosted by the CCW will be held on Sunday, December 14th,
immediately following the 11:00 AM Mass. Dinner will be served at 1:00 PM. It is catered by Anthracite
Café. Entertainment this year is provided by Jimmy T. Elvis.

CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTIES (2) the Twin Boro Lions Club will hold it’s Annual Children’s Christmas Party on
Saturday, Dec. 13th, at 1 PM in the Warrior Run Fire Hall. Children up to age 10 are invited to attend. Children must preregister by Dec. 10th at Top Notch Pizza, Derff’s Pizza or with any Lions Club member . You can also call Steve Brezna at
(570) 829-0153 or register with your children’s PSR Instructor at Holy Family Parish. The Knights of Columbus will be
holding it’s Children’s Christmas Party on Sunday, Dec. 7th in the Parish Hall from 1 PM – 3 PM. Children will enjoy food,

PARISH PASTORAL COUNCIL NEWS: 74 names were placed in nomination last weekend. Our PPC Nomination
Committee will be contacting nominees inquiring if they will accept candidacy. Selection Sunday is January 18, 2015.

DIOCESAN COLLETIONS: the second collection for CLERGY CARE & EDUCATION, this Sat.-Sun., Dec. 6-7; for
ANNUAL RETIREMENT FUND COLLECTION FOR RELIGIOUS: the second collection next Sat.-Sun., Dec. 13-14.
ANNUAL CHRISTMAS RAFFLE TICKETS: The raffle drawing is January 11, 2015, in the Parish Hall after the 11:00 AM Mass.
Returns can be dropped into the regular offertory basket; mailed; or brought to the rectory anytime before the drawing.
“Transforming Lives Together” was this year’s theme. We will continue
to post current pledge totals in the weeks ahead, as those reports come to
us from the diocesan offices. As of Nov. 24, 19.13% of our parishioners
pledged $18,725. Our goal this year was $20,000.00.
