About the trainer:
Roger Downs has been a State Electrical
Inspector since 1994, covering District 4 in
the southwest part of the state. Roger first
earned a Nebraska Journeyman A license in
1976, upgraded to an Electrical Contractor
license in 1999 and currently holds four nationally recognized certifications as an electrical inspector. He has been teaching continuing education classes for the Nebraska
Iowa Electrical Council for several years in
cities throughout the state.

National Electrical Code® 2008 Review
During this day and a half seminar, participants will get an in-depth review of the major
components of the NEC manual. They will learn to effectively use the manual’s index to
locate specific codes. Vital “how-to-design” information relating to systems and equipment
will also be covered. This course is approved for 12 continuing education units by the Nebraska State Electrical Board for electrician license renewal. SED course number: 09-21.

This course is recommended for electricians, safety and electrical engineers, contractors,
journeymen, apprentices and supervisors.
