It enables you to turn your data into web-enabled services that your whole organization members can use. MyGOS gives you an easy-to-use and intuitive workspace for collaborating with others on your organization. Create groups and invite others to work together on projects, and to share maps, data, and other content. Create public groups to share information outside your organization with everyone, or create private groups for limited viewing. Benefit: 1. Can generate textual data to spatial. 2. Allows users to create and share maps on-line. 3. Allows users to upload information into MyGOS using MS Office. 4. Observation data assets can be implemented using MyGOS. . 5. Allows user to create ‘story map’ and ‘simple web application’. 6. Note: User can register this ID at MyGDI Explorer: http://mygdix.mygeoportal.gov.my/register/insert.php 2.4 Groups - Groups will only display when you have permission (log in) to access in MyGOS. Note: Groups are a collection of items, usually related to a specific area of interest that are created and managed by a group administrator. Anybody with an organizational account or public account can create groups. As a group owner, you decide who can find your groups, if others can request to join, and who can contribute content.
