The cable is designed for the system-defined transmission rates of 9.6 Kbit/s up to 12 Mbit/s, the transmission characteristics conform to the system and guarantee a high operating security during the data transmission. This data cable provides special advantages for the use in sensitive areas, where flame propagation must be avoided and the presence of toxic fumes would cause personal injuries and damage of property. UNITRONIC BUS HFFR L2/FIP FC UL/CSA is suitable for permanent installation in dry and wet rooms. Due to it‘s double screening it is suitable for installation in electromagnetically demanding areas. With the „Fast Connect“ stripping tool the cable is intended for the fast mounting of the connectors. By one single operation the end of the cable is prepared for connection, especially if the IDC (Insulation Displacement Connector) method of termination is used.
