Intended Use: The Metalumen Carlisle™
TC4 is a low profile luminaire designed for
applications that require the highly energy
efficient delivery of comfortable uniform
illumination from a recessed lay-in luminaire
or drywall mount application. The simple lines
and textures of the TC4 offers a distinctive
architectural aesthetic that integrates well
into both transitional and contemporary
spaces. The Metalumen Carlisle™ TC4 is ideal
for offices, schools, hospitals and numerous
other commercial applications.
Housing: This luminaire is 65% postindustrial recycled content with a 20 gauge
cold rolled steel body construction and spot
welded at all joints.
Optical System: Tubular fluorescent lamps
transmits to an internal high performance-side
kicking reflector that then passes through our
Meta Ice acrylic center channel for a smooth
distribution; this creates a continuum of smooth
consistent light. Acrylic or perforated metal
baskets, offered in narrow or wide, can be easily
removed for re-lamping.
Finish: The luminaire housing and associated
parts are finished in highly reflective, matte
powder coat white paint (91% reflectance).
Weight: 1x4 = 17.5 lb (7.93kg)
2x2 = 17.7 lb (8.02kg)
2x4 = 29 lb (13.15kg)
Mounting: Mounting brackets/clips provided.
Recessed TC4 can fit 9/16” and 15/16”
T-Bars, maximum height of 1.5”.
Ballast: Instant Start, Programmed Rapid
Start, 0-10V Dimming, DALI
Integrated Controls: Consult factory.
Approvals: Certified to NRTL and IES testing
standards. cULus listed.
Environment: Suitable for dry locations.
Non-IC rated.
WARRANTY
Metalumen will warrant a one year parts and labour warranty. Warranty is valid if luminaire is installed and used according to specification. The Ballast will carry a standard 5 year warranty
by the manufacturer. If defective, Metalumen will send replacement ballasts or drivers at no cost along with detailed replacement instructions and instructions on how to return defective
components to Metalumen.
