Job  Objective :  

To  oversee  and  manage  assigned  departments,  while  fostering  innovation  and   delivering  programs/ideas  that  will  improve  processes  and  efficiencies  within  the  

 

Center.  

 

Responsibilities :  

Supervisory  

• Oversight  of  accounts  payable  function  performed  for  both  branches  and  

Distribution  Centers,  to  include  accounts  payable  entry  and  reconciliation  

(“APC”),  vendor  reconciliation,  cash  disbursement,  and  Document  Processing   departments  by  directly  supervising  the  respective  management  of  each  group  

• Ensure  that  the  practices  and  goals  for  each  department  are  in  alignment  with   the  SAC  departments  they  support  as  well  as  the  Center’s  overall  objectives  

• Ensure  that  the  human  resource  practices  of  the  Center  remain  paralleled  with   those  of  the  company  and  in  compliance  with  applicable  state  and  federal   regulations  

Provide  mentoring,  training,  and  encouragement  within  the  department  to   promote  professional,  educational,  and  personal  growth  

Participate  in  Shared  Accounting  activities  

 

• Document  and  record  personnel-­‐related  actions  completely  and  accurately  in   accordance  with  human  resource  guidelines  

• Monitor,  adjust,  and  process  associate’s  time  records  to  ensure  timely   submission  of  payroll  records  

 

Work  Related  

Set  the  strategic  direction  for  the  accounts  payable  function  for  Shared  Services  

Establish  and  enforce  customer  service  levels  for  each  department  

Evaluate  departmental  processes,  technology,  and  organization  for  efficiency   and  make  recommendations  and/or  implement  improvements  as  needed  

Analyze  trends  for  respective  departments  against  Center/company  objectives   and  establish  goals  and  metrics  to  support  furtherance  of  both  

• Monitor  developments  in  SAC  departments  and  analyze  impact  to  assigned   departments,  and/or  identify  opportunities  for  process  improvement  

• Serve  as  primary  troubleshooter  for  areas  of  responsibility  and  work  to  eliminate   obstacles  and/or  resolve  issues  that  impede  achieving  departmental  goals  

 

Qualifications  

• 3-­‐5  years  of  supervisory  experience  managing  multiple  associates  and/or  work   groups  required    

• Strong  leadership  and  management  skills  

Bachelor's  Degree  strongly  preferred  (Business,  Accounting,  Finance  preferred)  

CPA  designation  a  plus  

• Prior  experience  working  with  wholesale  distribution  process  and   accounting/finance  concepts  ideal  

• Experience  with  process-­‐improvement  and  systems  implementation  required  

Advanced  knowledge  of  Microsoft  Office  (Word,  Excel,  PowerPoint,  Outlook)  

Advanced  presentation  and  training  skills  

Must  be  comfortable  working  with  all  levels  of  associates  and  outside  contacts  

• Able  to  think  and  react  quickly  

Excellent  written  and  oral  communication  skills  

Professional  in  appearance  and  speech  

• Demonstrate  reading  comprehension  and  ability  to  follow  directions  

• Exhibit  literacy  in  drafting  correspondence  and  other  forms  of  written   communication  

• Able  to  perform  basic  math  functions  

• Outstanding  and  professional  written  and  oral  communication  skills  

Willing  to  work  in  a  productivity-­‐driven  environment  with  a  high  volume  of   workflow  

Strong  problem  solver  in  a  high-­‐volume,  time-­‐sensitive  environment  

• Able  to  generate  and  communicate  presentations  to  large  groups
