The University of Wisconsin System is one of the largest systems of public higher education in the

This position is located within the UW-Service Center (SC) which serves the entire UW System relating
to the functional activities within the PeopleSoft (PS) Human Capital modules.
Major Responsibilities:
If you are selected for this position you will be responsible for:
Leading and managing the Service Center's Enterprise Reporting efforts which include the development
and support of queries, reports, and dashboards for use at the operational and management levels. The
definition and use of key performance indices (KPIs) provides the foundation for the dashboards and
metrics. The position contributes to data policies, standards, and processes to create a consistent and
proper handling of HRS data, and then monitors for compliance across the enterprise.
Leading and developing the Reporting Team as an integrated and cross functional unit within the UW
Service Center. The Manager supervises and evaluates staff; reviews and recommends performance
standards; establishes and maintains operational procedures; and directs the operations of the unit.
Acting as a member of the Service Center Management Team that promotes a team approach to problem
resolution and ongoing operation. This position reports to the Director of the UW Service Center and is
expected to operate independently and be accountable for delivering measurably high-quality and
responsive reporting services to a variety of stakeholder and customer groups. The Reporting Manager
will demonstrate a commitment to organizational success and a commitment to respect and the practice of
civility in the workplace.
Minimum Qualifications:
In order to be considered for this position, a candidate must have:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
A well-qualified candidate will also have:

Experience leading and/or developing teams.
Experience in higher education and/or a highly complex organization
Experience working with ERPs such as Oracle/PeopleSoft
Experience with business intelligence querying and analytic tools such as Hyperion, OBIEE,
Business Objects, or Cognos.
- Strong knowledge and expertise in data warehousing, data analytics, and BI reporting concepts.
- Experience with project management techniques and prioritizing multiple projects
Conditions of Employment: This is a full-time, academic staff position. The range for this position is
$85,000 - $100,000 and will be commensurate with the candidate’s qualifications and experience. UW
