The special type of floor luminaire
The new floor luminaire from DH Licht cannot be beaten on flexibility. Whether it has 1, 2, 3 or
4 arms, the floor luminaire can be entirely adapted to your requirements. The individual luminaires can be rotated and pivoted using a gimbal so that the light is always evenly distributed.
The luminaire is made of cut and polished aluminium. The power cable is provided with an on/
off switch.

Floor luminaires

The only floor luminaire for
potted plants in interior planting
The flexible design of interior lighting is enabled by the floor luminaire for halogen metal
halide lamps. Position it, plug it in and off you go. The floor luminaire is perfectly suited to
rooms where the decor is always being redesigned. After all, the floor luminaire is not installed
in a fixed position in the room and can be positioned as required. The surface of the metal
luminaire is powder-coated. Ballasts are already integrated upon delivery.

MGR­-K
MGR­-E
The MGR-K and MGR-E are the most innovative and flexible luminaires for high pressure discharge lamps. Many variations of lamps can be used thanks to the separate lamp and ballast
housing. The MGR is made of an extruded aluminium profile with cast aluminium closure caps.
The ballast housing can be provided with conventional ballasts for 250 and 400 Watt or with
electronic ballasts for 210, 250, 315 and 400 Watt lamps. Both housings can be connected
with each other or mounted separately from one another with aluminium hooks. The housings
are connected electrically with an IP65 plug connector. It is also connected to the mains with
an IP65 plug connector.
The luminaire housing is covered with a single-pane safety glass panel, which can be opened
and closed without the use of tools thanks to stainless steel clips. The efficiency level of the luminaires is very high and illumination of areas is optimal due to the use of specially designed
reflectors made of pure aluminium.
The ballast housing and lamp housing are both powder-coated in RAL 9016 traffic white and
have a high reflection level, which causes limited shadows. The housings are IP65, with water
jet-proof protection. This also applies to the electrical connection plugs. The insert hooks make
mounting to profiles or cable harnesses easier and mean tools are not required.
A mounting bracket can be ordered as an accessory for spotlighting and vertical lighting.

It can either be used as a direct substitute
for conventional lighting systems or as an
energy-efficient supplement. It may be even

use any lighting for their greenhouse in the

to the significantly lower heat radiation,
LED-Toplighting can even be used in greenhouses where conventional lighting with high

strip to suit your needs is created with 4 different looks. The options of feed-through wiring
for selection of control, regulation and emergency lighting systems are another individual component of the lighting strip.

After 30 years of experience in assimilation lighting, the time had come to develop our own,
new „SOD“ sodium vapour lamp. We have implemented the concept, combined with knowledge and know-how, in the new SOD lamp. The optimised lamp spectrum promotes the
growth of your plants. Retention of 90% of the photon flux is guaranteed by the applied technology over the entire period of use of 12,000 hours. With the new DH Licht SOD lamp, you
achieve faster and higher quality growth at all development phases. This is achieved by a high
ratio of blue light in the emission spectrum. The energy-efficient SOD lamp can be operated
compatibly with all conventional ballasts and, of course, with the electronic ballast from DH
Licht.

Introduction
The Ceramic-Metal-Halide-Discharge lamp (CDM), often also referred to as the CeramicMetal-Halide lamp (CMH), is a further development of the mercury lamp, which people were
aware of in the past but which was hugely unpopular. The discharge is created in a ceramic
tube, generally made of sintered aluminium oxide.
The ceramic tube is filled with mercury, argon and metal halide salts. The metal halide salts
are partially vaporised due to the high wall temperature. These salts are dissociated into metal atoms and iodine inside the hot plasma. The metal atoms are the most important sources
of light. They create a blue light in these lamps, which can be classified very close to natural
daylight with a CRI (Color Rendering Index) of up to 96.
Energy
CDM lamps use a fifth of comparable tungsten bulbs to achieve the same light output (80-117
lm/W) and usually retain the colour stability over the entire service life. They are better than
most other gas discharge lamps. Just like other high pressure discharge lamps, they need
a specially developed electronic ballast to work or they are operated on conventional SON
ballasts and igniters.
Applications
and options for use
The application for these lamps are garden centres, climate chambers, production greenhouses, research facilities and seed cultivation companies. The lamp can be operated in all
conventional, closed 230V assimilation luminaires and therefore also in the DH Licht luminaire
MGR-K CMH on pages 8+9.
