My daughter Wendy has problems with the soles of her feet. They are calloused and very badly cracked-to the point of bleeding and infection. They are quite painful and it made her very uncomfortable and
unable to sleep. She was not having luck with creams, so on the last night of the reunion she agreed to try
the emu oil. As 1 rubbed it into her feet 1 could tell she had a hard time sitting still because of the pain,
but after one "coat" of oil she asked me to "do it a second time. It isn't quite as painful now." Needless to

WOW!!! I just today purchased your "Derma 50" and "Emu Oil". I am currently a welder by trade, and
have had recurrent problems with eczema, and have been to a dermatologist who prescribed a stronger
ointment (I think steroid) than my family DR had. It would always clear up the eczema, but it would also
always return. Well, one week ago, I did some very hot aluminum welding for about 3 hours straight, and
REALLY flared up the eczema, which I already had to an extent. I have been miserable since, hardly able
to put on gloves, or do much handwork. Today after work I determined to go to a local Country Store that
carries your products. I bought the two items, and on the way home had to stop for a train, so I started
putting on the Derma 50, and got IMMEDIATE pain relief. The discomfort was much like poison ivy,
which I am susceptible to also. This product helped much better than anything else I have ever tried. So, I
am happy so far. I will try to get digital photos ! of my hands and arms, BEFORE they get any better
with the emu products. Would someone in your company be interested in me sending photos? Also, do

I use emu oil for so many things. Here are a few:
1: overnight hair conditioner- I apply to the ends or any dry sections and wash out in the morning.
2: eyelash conditioner-use at night
3: nightly facial moisturizer
4: great under makeup as a primer

I had to share my experience with a gum graft I recently had performed. Since I was
aware of emu oil healing properties I started to apply it immediately after the surgery.
I dabbed it on the section where the graft had been taken and drizzled it between the
bandage and the gum where the graft was sewn. After 2 weeks I returned to have the
bandage removed and amazed the periodontist with the results. Apparently the emu
oil had managed to speed the healing to the point where he was convinced that my
gums showed a five week heal and not just the two weeks it had been.

Since I had also noticed that my teeth were much cleaner and tartar free I continued
to use the oil on my teeth daily when brushing them. Not only are all the stains gone
from my teeth but my annual cleaning is a breeze. Apparently the oil cleans the tartar

After just a few days using the pure refined emu oil on a badly affected vaginal and rectal case of lichen
sclerosis, the swelling has diminished, the redness, itching and eruptions are disappearing.
Most significantly, the thick scarring from a previous surgical procedure at Mayo clinic has gradually

Thank you so much for your wonderful all natural products!!! I am extremely chemically sensitive and
cannot use anything whatsoever with synthetic toxic chemicals. I was previously using a product that was
supposedly "Natural" and it caused my skin to become very irritated resulting in dryness and severe

I will be glad to give you a report on how the Protective Sun Crème works for me. I have rosacea and the
Redness & Blemish Crème has worked wonders for the few break out I have had. I use a little of the emu
oil as my moisturizer. My case is mild since I caught it fairly quickly. So far I have not be able to use any
other sun screens as they all seem to make my skin feel like the air is totally cut off and my face will
flush, and break out. The Redness & Blemish Crème has also cured a stubborn case of itching on the

I have suffered from the debilitating condition of Acne Rosacea for the past 4 years. For someone who
has lived with perfectly flawless skin all her life it was a shock to discover my complexion turn from a
mild redness along my 'T' zone, to my whole face looking very angry, pustular, and lumpy, which was

Just wanted to drop a note: the Redness and Blemish cream in conjunction with the pure refined emu oil
is absolutely miraculous! I experienced a mild case of Rosacea and was preparing to go to on an
antibiotic until my brother, John Johnston, urged me to try the cream. Wow! My friends and family
have noticed the dramatic change in my complexion. The texture of my skin has changed for the
better...difficult to define, but clearer and more radiant. Let me note that when I first began using PEL
Basic and Emu Oil that I continued to use all of my facial cosmetics...no problem...that is why I am so
impressed with this product. The cream began to work immediately on my skin even with the

Just thought I'd write you an email to let you know how FANTASTIC I think your Blemish Cream is. I
suffered from rosacea for about 10 years. The doctor couldn't do anything for me. I had creams and pills
over the years that seemed to take the edge off it for a couple of days and then it would be back as bad as
ever. I used to get dry flaky skin in a sort of butterfly from the top of my eyebrows, across my cheeks to
just under my chin. I had to moisturize every day otherwise it would flare up all red, puffy and sore for
few days. Then my fiancée found an article in her Take a Break magazine about somebody in the same
situation that had excellent results, so I ordered some. Talk about QUICK - it had basically cleared my
skin within 4-5 days. I could actually see the pores in the skin either side of my nose, a patch of skin that
was usually permanently red and smooth. The only thing is I was lucky that my fiancée had seen the

I have found many uses for your emu oil. I use it for blemishes to reduce the redness and inflammation. I
find it also helps acne medications absorb better into the skin, in turn causing them to work better. I find it
is a great eye makeup remover also. It is gentle and moisturizes the eye area very well. I also put a little in
the ends of my hair when it gets really dry or is need of a trim.

Here is what I think that emu oil has helped with me. The nerve casings that go down
the arms and legs were shortened on me due to the inflammation of MS. Emu oil is a
very good source of essential fatty acids, and fatty acids called myelin are what coat
those nerves. Having a diet high in fatty acids has long been known to lessen
symptoms of MS because the fatty acids are usually low on a MS person. What MS
does is attack the myelin (fat lining of the nerve). My opinion is that if there is more
fatty acid available in the diet, it can either replace the inflamed places and soothe
that nerve, or it can provide fatty acids besides the myelin for the MS to chew on for a
while!
Well, so much for my limited wisdom.

While at our family reunion in June, I had occasion to "sell" emu oil. My mother has cramping in her feet
that just doesn't quit. She usually massages with creams of various sorts, but often it does no more than
temporarily relieve the current cramp. I asked her to use the emu oil and the cramp not only was

I'm writing to let you know how Purple Emu oil has helped me. Three years ago, I closed a file cabinet
drawer on my thumb nail and damaged the nail bed. The nail turned purple and I expected to lose it. I also
expected that a new, normal thumb nail would grow back. Instead, misshapen, chalky clumps of nail grew
in which would flake and tear off before it grew to the midpoint of the nail.
Needless to say, it was very unattractive and tender, and I could no longer use that thumb normally. The
skin surrounding the nail and on the entire thumb was cracked and sore. I showed it to a dermatologist
who suggested that I keep it lubricated with AquaFor, but could offer me no hope that the nail would ever
grow back again.
On a trip to the health food store, I happened to see Purple Emu oil and bought some, thinking it might
improve the cracked skin around the damaged thumb nail. After a couple of days, the skin was much
improved and I started applying it to the nail, too. After three weeks, I noticed that not only did the nail
feel better, it was grown out farther than I had seen it since the accident. Now the nail is nearly grown out
and while it is still bumpy, it seems strong. I can press on objects with my thumb pad without causing

I have suffered for years with muscle spasms in the back, usually one of these bouts last 5 or 6 days, the
only relief was from a prescription muscle relaxer, I don't know if they actually helped or just made me
sleep through the misery. About three months ago while building fence, I pulled a muscle in my back, this
is generally the beginning of several days of suffering. I had my back rubbed with a Sports Rub followed

in an hour or so with pure Emu Oil, that night I went through the same routine. The next morning my
back was stiff but after a couple of hours I was able to get back to fence building, maybe at a little slower
pace for the day, but by the next day was at full capacity.

One of my cats developed some sort of skin infection, the vet didn't seem to know what it was and
prescribed an antiseptic cream to treat the infection. The cream was doing absolutely nothing to fix his
skin problem so I decided to put some emu oil on it and to also give him some orally. The skin infection
has totally cleared up now, but the only problem is my cat absolutely loves emu oil and asks me to give

Just ordered some ore Derma 50 and I just wanted to let you know how good this
stuff is on poison ivy and poison oak. I just got over both - I'm more allergic to
poison oak. In the past I'd just dab on some of the Derma 50 on my poison ivy and
it would be hardly bothering me at all until it went away. I also had a couple of
spots of poison oak this time, and I really am pleased with how the Derma 50
helped it!!!!! I even had a fever with this stuff and really felt lousy - not just from the

On January 5, 2000, while vacationing in Barbados, I came across Purple Emu

washing a Pyrex disk it broke into 3 pieces and 2 of them sliced and cut 1 finger badly. ER had to put
gelfoam on it and I had to keep it dry for a week. (alt wouldn’t stop bleeding as many layers of skin
were cut [sliced]. After that time frame I started using the oil and you can hardly see anything

I've been spending more time out in the sun lately and I wanted extra-extra protection on my face while at
the pool with my kids, so as I looked around my bathroom, I found the protective sun crème that I never
gave away and decided to use that on my bare face (no makeup). When I put my glasses back on and
looked at my face...I was kind of shocked at what I saw...

First let me thank you for all your support. I had some fears in the beginning and you helped me through.

When I received the Redness & Blemish Control and Emu Oil I wasn't sure how to use it. So, I ask myself
should I put the cream all over my face or just the effected areas, and follow up with the Emu Oil. Well,
after all the years of suffering I decided to go for broke and started using it all over my face twice a day
followed up by the Emu Oil. However there is a down side to doing it this way but, in the long run it
really paid off.
Here is the down side to using Redness Crème all over your face. It is such a powerful bacteria killer that
it causes your face to breakout very badly in the beginning because it draws out all of the bad therefore
producing the redness and the pimples. But, the good news is it only lasts about 8 to 10 days and then
your face starts to slowly clear up. By the time I had used both Redness & Blemish Control and Emu Oil
for about one month or so my face was almost clear including the flushing and fever. By the time I had
used the products for two months or so my complexion was completely clear, no fever to speak of, and
the flushing was virtually gone. Now I am in my forth month and can report all is well and have noticed
that my confidence level has returned and is extremely high now. THANK YOU VERY MUCH NETTIE.
I would recommend these wonderful products to anyone and would tell them that if they want to get rid of
this terrible condition they may just have to make up there mind to go through a few days of discomfort,

I wrote to you once before and had always hoped you would use my idea but have never seen it in your
uses.
I had horrible feet. I love to go barefoot and over the years my skin under my feet and especially the
heels became rough, dry and cracked. Deep cracks. My Aunt first bought me Purple Emu as a X-mas gift,
along with other creams to try on my feet. I used some of the other creams but was skeptical about Emu

My doctor has tried for 15 yrs to get my triglycerides down, but to no avail. Since I take 2 Emu Gel
capsules or more daily not only has it made the triglycerides drop but has balanced all levels of my

I was injured in a freak accident and had surgery for three pinched nerves in my lower back, after which I
had complications with ongoing pain. EMU X was a blessing in disguise for me !! Once applied, and my
body heat rose from riding in a vehicle, etc., it was like having a mobile heating pad on my lower back and
hip. EMU X was better than any medication prescribed for me.
I used the 2 oz. roll on - that way I wasted NONE on my hand and it was easier applied. I learned of EMU
X at a Show in Covington, LA and have bought from the individual several times. However, recently I
learned that only Purple Rub is available through them. I've tried it, but without the Capsaicin, it is NOT

gone. For about two years I have treated this with prescription cortisone with almost no results. The

I have been having really good luck with pure emu oil and my rosacea. I have been using it along with the
Aderma Septalibour cleanser, and it has been working nicely. Much less redness and no new breakouts.
I decided I want to give the Blemish Control Crème a shot, and found out when speaking to the owner that
there are now two different versions of the Crème. The new formula, called Redness & Blemish Control,
has been created for highly sensitive skin. The crème has the same list of ingredients in the same order as
the original, BUT has more added emu oil and less of the active ingredients for more sensitive skin. She
said that she had complaints from several people that the original Blemish Control was too strong, so
decided to make a new formula for more sensitive skin. I ordered the sensitive Redness & Blemish
Control, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it helps with the breakouts and redness. A great addition
is that when you order the Redness & Blemish Control, you get a complimentary Super-Rich Moisturizer
Sampler :)
I have to say that I am impressed with Purple Emu's customer service, just wonderful. And also, their
products are SO minimal in ingredients that the risks of flares/reactions are lessened in my opinion. I have
yet to find products with so few ingredients, less to bother my face :) The lesser the better I've found!

I ordered the Redness & Blemish Control Crème from www.purpleemu.com. I was a little skeptical
because of the smell of it.... kind of like Noxema or Vick's almost, but nothing else has ever worked so
quickly and without irritation or causing more breakouts. I'm impressed, and it takes a lot to impress me
anymore in the skin care product department.
I have Dr. Perricone's Alpha Lipoic Acid Facial Firming Activator, which is a light cream product
containing ALA (alpha lipoic acid) and glycolic acid. It was $85 at Nordstrom. The sales person told
me that it was wonderful for rosacea, which I had heard before, and I thought it was wonderful at first. I
didn't really see any lessening of the blotchy redness (very much like Patti describes...white spots within
the red spots) and it didn't help get rid of the bumps. My skin felt better-textured but I don't think the
redness improved at all. There is also an ALA face wash and eye area product. The cleanser I think is
around $28 and I'm not sure about the eye product. Might be worth a try but be sure to buy it where you
can return it. I plan to return mine to Nordstrom for my $85 back.

I had to write and let you know just how good the AR cream and Emu oil are (as if you
had any doubts!). After about 5 days more or less all spots and bumps had gone each day my skin is slowly returning to the way I remember it used to be - clear and
supple!
I can't begin to tell you how much this means to me - my self-confidence had

I am a 36 year old male based in the UK and I have suffered with KP on my chest, back, shoulders and
upper arms for most of my adult life. Like most of you it has been mis-diagnosed throughout my life and I
have tried all sorts of different treatment options with varying results. So far, nothing has really worked,
the worst "treatment" was a prescribed steroid based creme that made things a lot worse, other treatments
included urea based cremes, moisturisers, natural oils, you name it, I've tried it! So far nothing really
works, I might get a minor improvement for a while if I'm lucky but the KP just fights back. I have
noticed that my KP tends to get quite irritated after air travel and as my job involves an awful lot of air
travel, it was constantly bumpy, itchy and hugely frustrating. To make matter worse, the last treatment
option (Calmurid) suggested by my doctor actually irritated the condition further so I was really at my
wit's end with this.
Now, just to set the scene, I should state that I also suffer with rosacea on my face. Originally this
condition was confused with the KP and I had very little luck keeping it under control with multiple flareups. However, about 10 years ago my dermatologist recommended that I tried 'Purple Emu Blemish
Control', an all-natural treatment. I was originally sceptical but this remedy has worked wonders and kept
my rosacea under control to the point that you wouldn't know I suffered with this skin problem. It is
amazing stuff.
Anyway, I have noticed over the years that if my KP was getting really irritated I could use some of the
Purple Emu Blemish Control on it and it would calm down and eventually dissipater. Sure, it would
eventually come back, but it really cleared it up fast and it stayed clear for ages. The problem is Purple
Emu Blemish control is quite chalky and really quite expensive, also, as it is so important for the
treatment of my rosacea, I was always reluctant to use it on the large areas of my body affected by KP.
However, needs must and I found myself using quite a lot of it recently as it was hugely affective at
keeping the KP under control even with all the air travel I do for work.
So, I recently wrote to the lady (Nettie) that set up and runs Purple Emu in the USA and I suggested that a

lower cost, creme based product with the same healing oils that they use in their Blemish Control might
make a great treatment for KP. Nettie thought this was a great idea and suggested that I tried the Purple
Emu After Shave Creme as it is essentially just that, a creme with the same healing oils as they use in
their blemish control, it is a lot easier to apply to large areas of skin and significantly cheaper to buy.
My tub of Purple Emu After Shave Creme arrived a couple of months ago and I immediately started to
use it on the areas of my body affected by KP. I used it every day at first and the KP vanished completely
after a week. Yes, you read that right, it vanished completely after a week! Once it had cleared up I found
myself using the creme once or twice a week in order to prevent the KP from surfacing again and so far it
just works, no bumps, no itching, no redness - Nothing. The tub is nearly empty now so it has lasted me
about two months and the fact I am just about to to order some more has just prompted me to write all of
this up.
So, fellow KP sufferers I can only urge you to try this stuff, it worked wonders for me and I sincerely
hope that it does the same for you. Just do a Web search for Purple Emu and you'll find their website. I
would be very interested to hear from other KP sufferers that have tried this creme as I think I may have
just stumbled upon a really effective treatment here...

We get insect bites frequently, and applying a dab of the oil to the itch makes it
disappear within a few seconds, and it works great on mosquito bites! Glenn was
outside in summer shorts a few days ago and disturbed a huge hornets nest. He was
stung at least seven times on the legs and a couple of places on the face and hands.
He came rushing in the house and coated all the bites heavily with Emu oil. None of
the bites ever swelled up, and he was able to proceed as if nothing happened!
We have found that Emu oil will cut the pain and itching of bites, stings, and even
poison ivy and oak. We have a friend who uses Menthol-based products on his
shoulders at night, so I asked him to put the menthol on both shoulders, and then
apply the Emu oil to one shoulder and report the results back to me. He dropped by
the next day to say that the Emu oil drove the menthol deep into the tissues and he

I use the Emu oil to remove pine pitch from skin and dog fur. I used to use rubbing alcohol which stings if
the skin is scratched or broken and it is safer for the dog who will often lick the fur that was just treated. I
also use the oil mixed with sugar as a special exfoliating treatment for dry weary hands and feet! I use the

I wanted to give you an update on just how wonderful I think your Protective Sun Crème is. I am also
glad you sent along the sample of Super-Rich Moisturizer. I tried the Protective Sun Crème the first day
alone. But it seemed hard to spread on my face. Then I tried putting some Super-Rich on one finger and
Sun Crème on another. This made it go on just fine. I do love the tint and it is not too dark for my fair
skin, (since I had to stop the sun tanning). I have now used both on Monday, Tuesday and also this
morning. I went out and worked in the yard yesterday and my face stayed cool. I just love these products.
My skin can still breath. With all the other products I have tried to use I felt like I had a mask on my face.
I will be placing another order soon for the full size of Preventative Sun Crème and the Super-Rich
Moisturizer. We travel a lot and I will be in Canada for 14 days in the mountains and seashore and then in
Sept we go to Hawaii. In-between we go to Golf tournaments so you can see I am out side a lot and really

Back in the mid nineties, my husband, who is an insulin dependent diabetic, had an HDL of only 35.
When we purchased our first emus and became familiar with the emu products, he started taking emu oil
gel caps.
His doctor only checks for cholesterol once a year but, the next blood test after he started taking emu oil
gel caps, his HDL was up to 65. This past Spring his HDL was 85 while his triclycerides are only 51. Not
bad!
We are totally amazed since, though he does eat a good diet most times, peanut butter, ice cream and
cookies are a staple in his life.
Also, his resting blood pressure averages 85 over 65 sometimes even lower.

Hello folks! I just wanted to let you all know how much I enjoy your products and how much they have
helped me. I started suffering from rosacea when I turned thirty. The doctor gave me a prescription cream,
but to be honest, it didn't do a thing to help! Then by chance, while at the Maryland State Fair, my
husband saw a booth promoting emu products. He noticed that one of the skin products said it could help
reduce the severity of rosacea. Well, had nothing to lose, so I purchased a jar of the Redness & Blemish
control (lite) and a small bottle of emu oil. I saw a marked improvement in my skin condition after a
month (after a bit of exfoliation!). I have been using these products for about 1 1/2 years, and my skin
looks fantastic. I have now taken to using the Super-Rich moisturizer in winter (when the air is so dry!),
and it is the only moisturizer that won't make me break out. I have been recommending these products to
friends and family, especially my cousin, who has been plagued with terrible rosacea. He has finally
started using the products, and I am sure he'll be happy with the results. My mom is hooked on the face

I thought I should write to tell you how happy the discovery of you products have made me. My acne
rosacea has been a part of my adult life for about fifteen years but has become more pronounced these last
five. The redness has always caused comment from people (how rude!) but it was the spots and pustules
that were more of a concern to me. I have made many trips to the doctors, in the first instance for a
diagnosis, but felt quite guilty because it was not a life threatening illness. I found that antibiotics would

A visitor to our ranch showed us his psoriasis spots. We applied Emu oil to most of

On the above-mentioned trip, Glenn had all of his upper teeth extracted by a Mexican
oral surgeon, and immediate dentures put in. The pain (despite medications given him
by the surgeon) got to be too much to bear, so we stopped and removed the dental
plates put in less than an hour before. Glenn's upper gums were heavily stitched in
several places and totally swollen, so I recommended he keep them out as the bleeding
had abated, and Glenn used Q-tips to coat his gums with emu oil for the next three
days. The pain was gone by day two, and on day four he returned to the oral surgeon
for a checkup by the surgeon, who told him he had never seen stitches heal so fast,
and the surgeon proceeded to remove all the stitches (usually one has to wait at least
two weeks!). I found that when my dentures irritate my gums, putting Emu oil on the
irritated spot stops all pain.

My oldest daughter started having teenage pimples some time ago, on her forehead, nose and chin. I gave

Have to give you this tip on preventing bedsores to begin with. My mother was recently hospitalized
and when her regular Physician was unavailable another doctor was assigned to check on her. The new

For the last 10 years or so I would often get a condition called episcleritis in my eyes.
It's an inflammation. It is also very painful. In the last couple of years it has happened
more often. I kept returning to the ophthalmologist and he would say they really did
not know what causes it. They would always say it's related to the arthritis gene.
They would give me steroid drops to fix it, but when I kept going back, they warned me
that the drops could cause cataracts with prolonged use.
I also had inflammation in my stomach. Once again the doctors said it was basic
gastritis and tests revealed nothing.
I later happened to see a television show about emu pills being used in Australia to
help Arthritis patients. They said it helps fight inflammation. I decided to try them!
Wow! I take 2 emu pills in the morning and occasionally in the evening. If I feel the

I twisted my neck and could not walk without pain, so I applied the Emu oil to the neck base, and all the
affected areas, especially the kneecaps and feet, wrapped my neck and kneecaps in plastic kitchen wrap to
seal it in, and put socks on my feet to seal in the oil. Discovered during the process (insult added to injury)
that I had a painful in-grown toenail (my first ever). Overnight, I slept in plastic wrap and socks, and not
only did the pain stop by morning, but I could move my neck and body parts without pain. I did not even
think about the in-grown toenail for close to week, and while reading an article on the Internet about the

Please note how pleased I am with all the products. I used the Emu Oil on a badly cut
finger. While washing a Pyrex disk it broke into 3 pieces and 2 of them sliced and cut
1 finger badly. ER had to put gelfoam on it and I had to keep it dry for a week. (alt
wouldn’t stop bleeding as many layers of skin were cut [sliced]. After that time frame
I started using the oil and you can hardly see anything (markwise) on the finger. My

luckily through a Belgium friend of my sister I heard of your products and was very surprised when I
found that I could receive the products from you in Germany by paying regular and not horrendous
shipping costs from the states - first of all thank you for this!
I am a 28 year old suffering of acne and have tried so many things without a result. With the products and
medication I used I could only notice my skin getting more damaged, being dry, red and flaky, enhancing
the wrinkles I am already trying to avoid around my eyes, or getting thinner by using cortisone crèmes.
The worse it got the more I tried, only to find my skin has turned even worse than before again - a vicious

Control crème made me break out on a few areas in my face really bad for about 3 weeks. Afterwards I

i would like to thank you for your wonderful products! in the past week to week and a half i have been
dampening my face to help spread smaller amounts of the blemish control cream all over my face more
evenly and the progress i have seen has been astounding. every day i look in the mirror i can see
improvement as the nasty infected red areas retreat and healthy skin emerges. at this time last year my
face was just starting to get really infected and broken out and i was totally dependent upon the
recommendations of a dermatologist, who ended up giving me several different prescription topicals, all
of which only exacerbated my condition! on the other hand, your completely NATURAL products have
performed wonders for my formerly very nasty complexion in less than two months (and i have been
seeing results even faster since i have modified how i apply the creme)! I'm not yet totally clear but at the

I just wanted to let you know what a wonderful product you have.
I used to suffer from Seborrhoeic Dermatitis, for which I was unfortunately prescribed Daktacort Cream
(hydrocortisone) by my GP. Although this worked initially the things gradually became much worse.
Fortunately, I was told about Nizoral shampoo which almost completely cleared the condition and I no
longer need to use cortisone creams.
However, I was still suffering from blemishes and rashes around my jaw (which my GP thought was

Dear Nettie - I just wanted to let you know that the Redness & Blemish Control Crème has been a miracle
for me and my rosacea. I was scared the first week I tried it as my skin dried out badly and peeled and
turned red, but soon the peeling stopped, the redness was gone(!) and my skin now accepts all kinds of

A long time ago I talked directly to you by phone.
You told me that you had your Mother on Emu Oil and that it seemed to stabilize her blood pressure. I
gave it a try because no matter how much the doctor increased my medication/water pill my blood
pressure would not come down and too much of the one medication put too much strain on my one and
only kidney.
You suggested that I may be eliminating the medication through my urine and to try the Emu oil capsules.
Well, I am happy to announce that faithfully taking Emu oil daily has stabilized my blood pressure at
120/80 and just to try an experiment myself I stopped taking the Emu Oil only to have my blood pressure
elevate again. Amazing!
My husband recently went in for a physical and complete blood work and his cholesterol was out of the
ballpark so to speak and the doctor wanted to put him on medication immediately. I said, "No" and to
please give us 12 weeks to see if we could lower the numbers by diet and exercise and my husband now
takes Emu oil capsules as well. I am so excited about this and thank you for the latest write up on
cholesterol.
I will keep you posted on the results. I changed his diet drastically, eliminating all milk products
substituting soy and rice milk and he eats absolutely no eggs. Oatmeal is served in the mornings with
blueberries, or bulgar wheat, or bran wheat cereal. For dinner, lean cuts of meat, chicken, and soy protein
is now served and he stays within the recommended 300mgs of cholesterol daily intake. White flour and
starches has been eliminated and he enjoys mashed sweet potatoes. Rice a Roni is a favorite with no
cholesterol, lucky for him.
We are excited to see what the results will be upon the next doctor's visit. The doctor was not happy with
the game plan my husband presented to him but agreed to let us do our own thing first, medication will be
considered as a last result. At least through a change in diet there won't be any adverse side effects !

Currently, we use the Emu oil on our feather-picker parrots, and they stop plucking, and start growing in
beautiful, shiny feathers. Same for dogs and cats-flea bites and itching are stopped by applying to the

Just thought I'd write you an email to let you know how FANTASTIC I think your blemish cream is. I
suffered from rosacea for about 10 years. The doctor couldn't do anything for me. I had creams and pills
over the years that seemed to take the edge off it for a couple of days and then it would be back as bad as
ever. I used to get dry flaky skin in a sort of butterfly from the top of my eyebrows, across my cheeks to
just under my chin. I had to moisturize every day otherwise it would flare up all red, puffy and sore for
few days. Then my fiancée found an article in her Take a Break magazine about somebody in the same
situation that had excellent results, so I ordered some. Talk about QUICK - it had basically cleared my

Anyway, you may have noticed that I get through quite a bit of this crème. The reason for this is that I
flare up mostly across my chest, over my shoulders and almost all the way down my back. I do have facial
flare-ups too, but these are easily controlled. Perhaps you might be able to advise me a little here, whilst I
believe I suffer from rosacea, I have never had it fully diagnosed by a dermatologist. When I was younger
I was misdiagnosed continuously, the first doctor I saw thought it was just teenage acne and told me it
would go away, it didn't. However, whilst I was still living in the UK it never really got out of control. I
had a small rash on my chest and my face would flare up very occasionally, so much so that I thought it
was just an allergic reaction to something.
However, since I left the UK it has got a lot worse. I have been living in Dubai for about 5 years now and
since I have been here it has got very bad. I have been to four dermatologists as well as the local hospital
trying to seek a diagnosis. The best and last one being that I had rosacea. I must say that the Blemish
control works wonders, it really is a miracle crème, however, when I have to use it on such a large
proportion of my body it does become very expensive.
There are two questions that I have been dying to ask you. First of all, is it normal to have rosacea flareups on your upper torso? I have not heard anything about this myself, but as the crème works so well I
assume that this is the case. Secondly, do you have a body lotion that has the same healing properties as
the blemish control? I believe this would be a much better solution for me, it would certainly help me save
a bit on the blemish control crème!
I am returning to the UK with my fiancée in the summer, once we have settled in back home I will seek
out a reputable dermatologist in London, perhaps they might be able to help me further, but as you know,
there is very little known about this skin disease even now, so I doubt they would be able to help me any
more than your products have to date.
Finally, I must thank you. Your site and your products were recommended to me and the results they have
helped me achieve are truly remarkable. Thank you. My line of work puts me in front of important
customers all the time, so image is very important, it is wonderful to find a product - especially a natural

Moisturizer last summer. Now I have to write to you and thank you for these excellent products!
Back in the mid nineties, my husband, who is an insulin dependent diabetic, had an HDL of only 35.
When we purchased our first emus and became familiar with the emu products, he started taking emu oil
gel caps.
His doctor only checks for cholesterol once a year but, the next blood test after he started taking emu oil
gel caps, his HDL was up to 65. This past Spring his HDL was 85 while his triclycerides are only 51. Not
bad!
We are totally amazed since, though he does eat a good diet most times, peanut butter, ice cream and
cookies are a staple in his life.
Also, his resting blood pressure averages 85 over 65 sometimes even lower.

When I stopped taking birth control pills a year ago my face broke out terribly. My dermatologist prescribed
tazorac, a retinol cream, to help me. Most of my acne went away - I still usually had occasional acne, but my

Thank you so much for your wonderful all natural products!!! I am extremely chemically sensitive and
cannot use anything whatsoever with synthetic toxic chemicals. I was previously using a product that was
supposedly "Natural" and it caused my skin to become very irritated resulting in dryness and severe
flaking and peeling within just a few weeks. Brilliant me finally looked at the ingredients (with a
magnifying glass because the listing is so tiny on the containers) and saw that it was full of chemicals.
Even though I discontinued this within just a few weeks of starting, nothing I tried would restore my skin

I wanted to send you a quick update...
Tonight will be 3 weeks since I started using your products, and I am happy to say that I am seeing some
good progress :)
I have faithfully been using the creamy cleanser both morning and night, and then the Blemish Control
only at night. After about 2 weeks, the extreme bumps started to clear up. I was getting new ones each
day, but only a few and the old ones were clearing quickly.
At this point, my face was still blotchy and uncomfortable, (though less bumpy), so I decided to change
the routine slightly: at night, after washing, I put a light layer of pure Emu oil on, then a tiny touch of the
Super-rich moisturizer, then wait about 10 minutes...then I mix in my hand a bitty bit of the Blemish
Control with about 5 more drops of pure Emu oil and apply lightly to my face.
The mixing of the pure Emu oil with the BC really seemed to help the progress - the discomfort is gone.
My skin is smoother, the color is becoming more even, and I only get maybe one or two new
whitehead-type bumps a day...and those are usually almost completely gone by the following day.
And I'm not sure if it is just me being hopeful, but it seems to me that the fine lines around my eyes
look a little smoother! I have been patting the pure oil very lightly around my eyes :)
Thank you for encouraging me to stick with the program and the products...it was difficult at first but I
think worth waiting it out! I am looking forward to even more good results...today, in the morning after a

Well, I have used the PE products - cleanser, Blemish Control, and super-rich Moisturizer
- for 4 nights now... This beginning phase is more difficult than I could have imagined :)
I'm so glad that I thoroughly read all the info on the Blemish Control at your website, and all the
literature you sent me, so I was prepared for this period of ugliness :) But wow - I must admit this is
much worse than I was even expecting. My face is just bumps, bumps, bumps. I'd say 60 at least...most
are small, a few are big. The big ones are deep. The small ones just look terrible. Some have been
filled with pus, others are just bumps. It is red and blotchy. The overall feeling is my face is
uncomfortable , but not painful. It just LOOKS awful...
But I am committed to the program and will continue! I am praying this is just a big-time purge, as I read
about. I am using the Blemish Control at night only, after washing my face with the PE cleanser. Since
my skin is so aggravated, I am putting on a very light layer of just plain emu oil first, then a very little bit
of the Blemish Control. I am putting it on the areas that I usually would break out - my T-Zone, and
Jawline. Of course, those are the areas are now covered in the extreme bumps and whiteheads...
Tonight will be my 5th night. Each day I wake up to more bumps :) My face is not red in the morning
when I wake up. I have been covering the "effects" with a dusting of mineral makeup and then the
more obvious spots with a non-pore clogging concealer. Takes me about 1/2 an hour!
I am hoping and praying that after this period, things will begin to clear...there are no signs of this yet,

Hello there, I am the guy who was asking looooooooooooooooooads of questions about the redness and

Well just to say, its been about 3 and a half weeks since I started the process, and I am

Ok, for me the 1st week was full of lumps and redness and irritation...
2nd week, lumps went down a bit, but redness remained...

am with the quality and efficacy. I'd never heard of emu oil 'til I found a mention of it on a website I was

I burned my hands badly with hot butter and immediately applied Emu oil and wrapped up the hands in a
towel for about ten minutes. When I removed the towel, there was no trace on my hands of what should
have been a good second-degree burn. No pain, the redness and swelling were gone!

Hi, I ' v e been using Blemish Control and your Emu Oil for about three weeks now. After washing
my face with an a l l natural acne treatment soap, I apply one pump of emu o i l a l l over and l e t i t
sink in for a minute, and then apply blemish control a l l over. I ' v e seen SIGNIFICANT
improvement of my acne, and my skin is far less o i l y than i t was a month ago. I'm absolutely
loving my results, and while i t ' s only been three weeks, I suspect my hunt for skincare i s over.
And for that, I thank you.
I have one problem, though, and i t ' s pretty minor and i f there i s n ' t a solution I ' l l STILL keep
using the products because I love what they're doing for my skin, but I figured I should ask the
experts and see i f there's something else i should be doing.
Lately, l i k e i n the last 4-5 days or so, my skin has been a l i t t l e faster to flush than usual. My
skin hasn't gotten any more sensitive than i t was (in fact I think i t ' s gotten more r e s i l i e n t ) , but
for whatever reason, I'm getting redder more frequently than I ever have. I'm not explaining i t
well, because i t i s n ' t a dramatic thing at a l l , and again i f there i s n ' t an obvious solution I ' l l
just l i v e with i t , for a l l the benefits I'm getting from the Emu Oil and the BC I ' d rather be a
l i t t l e flush than give them up!!

love except I lost the damned t h i n g! ! ) , and I really do think BC is the answer to my acne. I ' v e not
had a cystic blemish since I bought your products, and I ' v e not had ANY blemish that stuck around

I have been using your product PELbasics for redness & blemish control.
My face had begun to get red and hot several weeks ago, and I was concerned. I began using the cream less than a
week ago, and my face is 90% better. This cream took away the heat the skin on my face.
The puffiness is gone.
The redness is all but gone.
My skin feels GREAT, and looks very good also.

• Eleven years ago I had 2 disks removed from my lower back. I was only 35 years old with a two year
old child! For the first four years I could do very little - stand, sit, dishes, etc. just normal routine stuff
much less play with my son. I am always plagued with pain. I hate taking pills for chronic pain due to
their side effects. We became emu ranchers in 1993 and one of our friends suggested I rub some emu oil
on my back. Finally, one day about 2 years ago I was waxing my hard wood floors and way over did it. I
was in such pain I couldn't even stand up straight! I couldn't even sit-stand -or lay down, I was having
such bad spasm. My husband said it was time to try emu oil. "What do you have to lose?" He massaged it
on for about two minutes and I couldn't believe it! I straightened up, the spasms were gone, the pain was
gone and I finished my floors! Of course the emu oil can't repair my back as it is now degenerating but at

I have tried several of your products over the past couple of months and I must tell you how impressed I
am with the quality and efficacy. I'd never heard of emu oil 'til I found a mention of it on a website I was
reading, along with the address to your site. On the strength of that person's recommendation I ordered
my first bottle of emu oil and have been amazed at its wonderful properties. I use it for treatment of
lichen sclerosis, and have found it very helpful in providing comfort, relief from symptoms and
controlling progression of the condition.

Just a note to say thank you for your products. I have very fair, dry skin and rosacea, and I use the Purple
Emu Oil every night. It keeps the rosacea in control and, most of the year, it's all I use. However, I do
keep the moisturizing cream on hand to help during the extremely dry winter months.
Also, this summer we took a trip to the beach and I tried your protective sun cream. Amazingly, I did not
get a sunburn, and -- as I said -- with my fair skin, I ALWAYS get at least a little sunburned. So, I give
that product extra high marks! Thanks again.
