EARLY LEARNING SUMMIT
Tuesday, January 12 • 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
Digital Technologies Developing for Children Ages
3-6 & Digital Sandbox
Facilitated by Gail Lovely, Founder of Suddenly It Clicks!, this daylong Summit will guide early childhood administrators, directors
and educators as they make decisions about how and when to
incorporate technology into their programs for early learners.
Experts will discuss: why technology’s intentional use requires
early childhood teachers and administrators to have information
and resources regarding the nature of these tools and the
implications of their use with children; why limitations on the use
of technology and media are important; the special considerations
that must be given for the use of technology with infants and
toddlers; the needs for digital citizenship and equitable access;
and the ongoing research on technology and young children. Sign
up is required; see www.FETC.org/el_summit.html for details.
