Cypress’s S6SAL211A94 evaluation board is designed for Cypress’s S6AL211 family
of intelligent LED lighting single chip solution for 10W LED lighting with Bluetooth® Smart
communication. This board enables users to adjust brightness and color tones nto 256
steps with 4ch drivers.
Users can expect a current of 300mA, 150mA, 200mA and 100mA for Ch1, Ch2, Ch3
and Ch4 assuming that white, red, green and blue are assigned respectively.

BLUETOOTH ® SM ART (LOW ENERGY)
Bluetooth is a wireless communication technology with short distance,
standardized as IEEE 802.15.1, and managed by Bluetooth Special
Interest Group (SIG).
Bluetooth Smart (Low Energy) is Bluetooth 4.0 standard released in
July 2010 and combined with Low Energy technology and it
provides reduced power consumption considerably and enables
Bluetooth modules to be mounted on small devices such as mobile
and sensor devices. This Bluetooth Smart (Low Energy) is expected
to instrumental in opening the new wireless sensor network system
market.
