What is the IDA/MSE tool?
A documentation tool used to track data sources checked when investigating IDA and MSE alerts.
When should it be used?
When steps taken to investigate IDA and MSE alerts are not documented in the infant Health
Record or other zone records.
Attach to the Alert Action Form and store according to zone practices. Do not fax to the NMS
Program Coordination Team.
