as Advantex brand and high performance glass. The company’s expertise in coating development enables
leading solutions, including wet use chopped strands, rovings and non-wovens. Its global manufacturing
platform and five R&D centers ensure delivery of consistent solutions in all regions. The new facility in
Gastonia, NC will help meet demand for high quality glass veil solutions using Sustaina™ bio-based binder
technology. Its glass non-wovens, impregnated or coated, are used for surfacing or reinforcing and enhance
product performance in terms of acoustics, aesthetics, weight-to-strength ratio, and weather-ability, fire
resistance and dimensional stability, in applications such as flooring, ceiling, wall covering, gypsum, insulation,
battery, pavement, CCL (Copper Clad Laminate) and composites.
