ABSTRACT
ARTICLE INFO
India is land of agriculture which comprises of small marginal, medium and rich
farmer. Now a day’s more number of conventional machines are available in market
which is cost is not economical for common farmer. Small scale farmer interested in
manually working operation like spraying, seeding, weeding and crop cutting etc. in this
farming process the conventional machines take more time, man power and cost. This
paper deals with no. operations perform in one machine like spraying, seeding, weeding
and crop cutting which is economical for small scale farmer. The comparison between
the traditional method and new proposed machine which can perform no of operation
and it has more advantages. Now a day’s labour availability becomes great concern for
the farmer and increase the labour cost. These machines reduce efforts and total cost of
operation like spraying, seeding, weeding and crop cutting.

I. INTRODUCTION
India is the developing country. It has rich land source
which is best suited for agriculture. Rural people, who
constitute nearly 65% of population, are dependent on
agriculture as main occupation. It is very essential to develop
method for better agriculture. The agricultural has always
been back bone of India’s sustained growth. As population of
India continue to growth the demand for produce as well.
Therefore it necessitates making the modern agricultural
equipment that provides agriculture operation which is most
sophisticated and can be easily available for farmer at feasible
rate. The paper discus different types of operation like
spraying, seeding, weeding and crop cutting in one equipment.
That will be helpful for small scale farmer and also for
agriculture industries to move towards mechanization with
feasible price.
Traditional methods: Before some year ago
traditional methods are used, those operated manually by
farmer. It’s required more effort. But now a day’s machines
are available in market. But problem is that different machine
required for different operation. It causes increase the total
cost.
This problem overcomes by our agriculture
equipment. We are making equipment which performs

number of operation like spraying, seeding, weeding and crop
cutting in one machine.
II. OPERATION IN AGRICULTURE
Sprayer: Indian farmer (small. Margin, semi medium) are
currently using lever operated backpack sprayer. A backpack
sprayer consists of 10-20 litter capacity carried by two
adjustable straps. Constant pumping is required to operate this
which results in muscular disorder. In this small area covered
while spraying so more time is require to entire land. The
chemicals are hazardous for human. Now day’s there are

machines are available for spraying but these are costly.
Weeding: Traditionally weed is defined as any plant growing
where it is unwanted in field. Usually a farmer is removed
weed by manually it required more time and labour it means
required more cost for weeding.
Crop cutting: The farmers are cut the crop like wheat, quarrel
by hands. But this is process is more affordable for farmer,
and consume more time. Machines are available in market for
crop cutting which is used cutter or blades for cutting the
crops. Two types of cutter are used in machine i.e.
reciprocating and rotary blades.
All of above operation we required separate machine
for each operation. Therefore the farmer require to porches’
different machines for every operation. It causes increase
expenditure of farmer because of that we are going to making
equipment which will be work these operations as a single
machine. So farmer need to perches only one machine for
number of operation.
Seed sowing: The basic function of sowing operation is drop a
seeds and fertilize in a straight row and desired spacing and
depth and also cover with soil. Few years ago farmers used
broadcasting sowing, it is time consuming process. But now a
day’s machines are available in market for seeding using
automobile.
Type of sowing: 1) Broadcasting 2) Dribbling
III. CONCLUSION
So this page describe that, we are concluded this innovative
equipment has remarkable influence in agriculture. By using
this innovative equipment concern with sprayer, seeding,
weeding and crop cutting, we can save more time for farming
process and also reduce lot of labour cost. It reduces fatigue of
the operator. It is very helpful for small scale farmer.
