It has become an important task for the university undergraduate teaching quality construction how to determine the objectives and implementation programs of specialty construction and clear the professional standards and professional certification and features professional relationship. Under the new development and new requirements for the field of electrical engineering and automation, Huaiyin Institute of Technology has explored diverse talent training mode during the specialized construction process, and has taken several major steps to ensure the teaching quality, and has determined the personnel location, and has optimized personnel training objectives, and has strengthened the practice teaching and the training base construction, and has built a new education system with the combination of system imparting and exploration research. © ST. It is great significance for university to promote the professional construction and constantly improve the education quality and school effectiveness and develop the professional brand characteristics conduct. Specialty construction further optimizes the professional set, and improves the overall level of professional development and the quality of personnel training, it is an important means for university to improve the personnel training quality and effectiveness and talent competitiveness. Specialty constructions is the important starting point and ending point to strengthen the university educational reform, implement the “Quality Project” and improve the personnel training quality. Electrical engineering and automation is a multi-disciplinary integration, which includes electronics, computers, power and control, professional knowledge develops rapidly, new theories and new technologies emerge endlessly, and a personnel training that has a wide range of universality. Huaiyin institute of technology determined electrical engineering and automation as specialty construction based in Jiangsu and market-oriented. It relies on the advantages of school discipline, faces the electrical, mechanical, construction, metallurgy and other industries. The disciplines construction, teaching staff, personnel training, the scientific research and experimental platform building will make great progress, and the construction achievements will play a similar reference and exemplary role for the construction and reforms in electrical engineering. The characteristics profession fully reflects school orientation, and has high level school characteristics in the fields of the objectives, faculty, curriculum, teaching conditions and other aspects to obtain social identity and higher social reputation. The profession formation is the result of long term construction and the concentrated expression of the school’s strengths and characteristics. To carry out the specialized construction is to promote personnel training colleges in close contact with the social needs and optimize the professional structure and form an effective professional development mechanism. It will lead universities to realize the scientific and accurate positioning according to their own reality, play educational advantages, promote the teaching reforms and strengthen the practice teaching to meet the country’s economic and social development needs for the diverse multi-type shortage of talent [2]. 3 The Positioning and Features of Profession Training Professional training integrates the multi-disciplinary trends and increases the teaching content of power system and new energy, accurately determines the direction of the discipline on the original basis of the motor and power electronics, control engineering direction, realizes rational allocation of basic courses, professional foundation courses and elective proportion, increases the proportion of practice teaching, optimizes curriculum system, strengthens experimental platform construction, builds the integrated practice system including experimental curriculum, curriculum design, practice and other innovative practices, actively encourages the tools and models of classroom teaching and practice teaching to improve active learning initiative. The modes of opening the laboratory and participation in research activities and academic competitions promote students’ personality development and improve engineering practice and innovative ability. Training objectives will train electrical engineers with wide caliber senior engineering and technical personnel in various industrial fields of the manufacturing and electricity industry, who engage in the related to electrical engineering including system operation, electrical engineering, automatic controlling, computer application technology, power electronics and information processing technology and economic management. It also brings up the advanced talents to service the multi- industrial fields of electrical manufacturing and electricity industries, who have solid theoretical basis, high comprehensive quality, practical ability, innovative spirit and hard work qualities. They can solve the technical issues of motor control, motion control and energy production or conversion, transmission, distribution control, protection, new energy development, energy storage and electrical manufacturing. According to social needs and development needs of individual students, it will focus on diversity training model, train technical personnel in the fields of project management, engineering studies, categories generalist complex, multi-skill type and other engineering by the mainstream model of engineering and technology type. To rely on the science and technology innovation bases is to strengthen the innovation spirit, practical ability, overall quality and focus on talent, innovation, practice, comprehension and adaptability [3]. 4 The Basic Measure of Specialty Construction 4.1 Constantly optimizing the training model In recent years, according to Jiangsu Province the trends requirements of the socio-economic development and subject development, school of electrical engineering constantly optimizes the professional orientation and ongoing training models, revises the electrical engineering orientation, training objectives, training models and curriculum system. Necessary reforms have been carried out for both curriculum structure and curriculum setting, and the practice teaching modules and innovation credits were increased. In order to cultivate the students’ overall quality and innovation ability, school established the credit education system with the characteristics of the times and local, which reflects the social development needs, so that the professional personnel training programs are more rational and emphasizing students’ comprehensive quality and innovative practical ability. Curriculum system are optimized, training model is improved, the modern science technology emerges the integrated and overall trend, liberal arts and science infiltrate, science and engineering and management integrate, and disciplines cross. Under such circumstances, the students’ knowledge structure of electrical engineering and automation teaches the general education for the purpose of the expertise, technology and ability. From the basic requirements of electrical engineering and automation, the knowledge structure of personnel training not only has the reflecting general education curriculum of natural sciences, humanities, social sciences, economics, management, foreign languages, computers 32 and physical education, but also has the three knowledge system courses which reflects the disciplines characteristics of “electrical Engineering” and the electrical combination of “strength and weak”. The optimization of the course system makes the students receive basic training in electrical electronic and electrical system and information control technology and other aspects, they include the expertise skills of electrical engineering and basic knowledge and skills of automation and information technology, the student system concept is strong, the student basic knowledge is solid, the students have the strong sense of innovation and engineering practice abilities, their professional faces are wide, the adaptabilities are strong, and they can meet the broad needs of the community. Wider professional education constantly improves and optimizes the training model program according to the training objectives of electrical engineering and automation and the purposes of improving the overall quality of people and the center of national electrical engineering and automation professional training model innovation experimental area, concise the basis experiments and the basic training of electronic technology and curriculum design and practice, and the professional integrated experiments and graduate design and research practice to realize innovative training models, and establishes the open and integrated innovative experiments, and strengthens students’ comprehensive quality training, improves the quality of personnel training, and reinforces the platform construction of the electrical engineering discipline. School puts a lot of effort to accelerate the disciplines construction of electrical engineering and automation and the related interdisciplinary disciplines platform according to the base of provincial experimental teaching center of electrical and electronic infrastructure, college science technology innovation base projects to construct theory and practice disciplines platform of key laboratories, and engineering training center, basic teaching experiment platform, open laboratories, research practice base and achieve leapfrog development [4]. 4.2 Strengthen curriculum and improve teaching quality Teaching is the primary means of achieving training objectives; the course construction is an important part of teaching. In recent years, the profession creates excellent courses and quality classes as breakthrough, intensifies course construction, improves the quality of curriculum construction from whole, has built provincial excellent quality courses of AC drive system, circuit theory, power electronics, DC drive system, computer control systems to share quality teaching resources, excellent teaching research, realize demonstration, radiation, promote the development of curriculum construction, teaching reform and improve the teaching quality through the construction of these courses. In order to ensure the experimental teaching system based on the core of the ability training, the experimental teaching must combine theoretical teaching, and realize the different levels teaching according to the experiment type and diversity integration, and seek the integrated design experiment out of proportion no less than 85%, and take into account application- oriented and innovative research experimental development. In the experiment curriculum integration process, the interdisciplinary restructuring of the discipline must be fully embodied to achieve the class optimization combination of the theoretical courses and experimental course. With the continuous growth of students’ professional knowledge, practice content realizes the continuous integration and perforation from basic to professional and from validation to design, from design to integration and from comprehensive to innovation. Three stages of basic engineering capabilities training and the overall quality exaltation and innovative ability culture train students’ practice ability, obtaining information ability and creative thinking skills. 4.3 Construction practice teaching system and practice platform According to the characteristics of practice teaching, the teaching philosophy was established by existing foundation practice with professional practice and combining basic skills training with innovation, strengthening the basic, ensuring the design and emphasizing innovation. The main body of practice teaching is students, the quality reflects of practice teaching is also students, because students’ individual differences exists, and they must be individualized by practice teaching to train students personality development. Practice teaching is inseparable from the solid foundation of theoretical teaching, the ultimate goal of practice teaching and theory teaching is engineering applications and practice innovation, the practice teaching mode must be established by the student centered and project oriented practice, the combination of the theoretical teaching and practical teaching, and the combination of innovative education and science technology competitions. The design ideas of practice teaching system is built by using the basic concepts of teaching practice and following the principle of constructing practice teaching system and adopting the teaching system of the structured hierarchical and modular content and curriculum series, to establish the practice teaching system based on the main line of the student innovative spirit and ability, and collecting the goals, basic, level, systematic and practical into whole. Practice teaching link is divided into four practice teaching module including experimental courses or training and internships or the integrated design or innovation and entrepreneurship [5]. 5 Training Effect Teaching reform significantly improves the level and quality of classroom teaching, where teachers are lead into the research achievement and research experience into the classroom to enrich the teaching content, make classroom teaching more lively and improve the students’ interest in learning. Students have a good grasp of theoretical knowledge and effectively promote the self-development, and these have made gratifying achievements. The students of electrical engineering and automation won a number of national first-class, second and third prize in extracurricular academic science and technology work competition, the national college of computer simulation smart car and province undergraduate electronic design contest and the national robot soccer 33 championship group, and the students are to become the main force in the school teams. Three-dimensional multi-level practice teaching system effectively enhances the practical ability and creative ability of the students, and the practice of multi-level content exercise students’ comprehensive ability. Teachers guide students to develop learning plans and professional direction and elective courses, instruct learning methods and optimize the learning process and the state. Teachers can be targeted for ideological guidance and psychological counseling to effectively mitigate or eliminate the psychological barriers of students. The instructor system fully reflects the teaching role of teachers and effectively promotes students’ overall healthy growth. Through years of training model reform, the quality of the graduates has significantly improved, and the employability competitiveness significantly enhances. In the job interview process, the good quality students gets recruiters recognition, student employment effect is good, the employer assessment for the graduate is high, the overall assessment is good with overall quality and strong practical ability and innovative spirit; In comprehensive reform of the personnel training mode, teaching reform has improved the teaching quality and level, students’ learning and practical ability and project awareness to promote the overall growth of students’ health. 6 Conclusion The profession focused on teaching reform and research, and highlighted the engineering education, and stressed practical ability and commitment to personnel training mode reform and practice, has accumulated rich experience, and has also made a series of achievements in reform.
