iscover how attractive high performance
architectural lighting can be! The Altus+
High Performance Direct luminaires
eliminate harsh light concentrations and evenly
distribute light to both horizontal and vertical
surfaces for an environment that is as pleasing
as it is efficient. It is available in long-life LED,
high efficiency T5, T5HO, T8 linear fluorescent
and twin-tube T5 compact fluorescent sources.
The Altus+ High performance luminaire is up
to 35% more efficient than traditional recessed
fluorescent luminaires saving thousands yearly
in energy costs. It delivers the optimal blend of
directional and diffuse light, filling the space with
more uniform illumination that softens shadows,
increases perceived brightness, and creates a
more comfortable luminous environment.
The Altus+ High Performance Series delivers
fixture efficiencies as high as 95% by virtue
of an enclosed high-efficiency ribbed lens,
shallow luminaire design, and post powder-coat
paint with 92% reflectance. The shallow 3.75”
fixture depth comfortably fits most challenging
plenums in both new and retrofit construction.
The Interlocking lens encloses the lamp
compartment, minimizing contaminant collection.

Long-Life LED Extends Fixture Life
The Altus+ High Performance LED Direct
luminaire combines high performance optics with
energy-efficient LED technology. It provides 26%
energy savings over traditional light sources.
Light quality is excellent, having a CRI of 85 and
an LED operating life of 80,000 hours (L70).
Standard color temperature is 4100K CCT with
other color temperatures available. Simkar uses a
three step binning process to maintain the most
precise color consistency possible. The Altus+
High Performance LED is also dimmable from
5% to 100% for further energy conservation. The
Altus+ High Performance LED is DesignLights™
Consortium listed.
