AMPS MEMBER DIRECTORY 2014
Welcome to the AMPS
Member Directory 2014
When analysing a competitive marketplace it can be hard for
specifiers or manufacturers to know exactly where to turn
when it comes to finding reliable information or sourcing
quality suppliers. With this problem in mind AMPS developed
the Member Directory.
AMPS is the trade association that represents the world-leading UK generating
set industry, and the 2014 Member Directory is an invaluable guide to the quality
services, products and specialisms offered by our large and diverse membership.
You’ll find that AMPS members extend from FTSE 100-listed global companies to
small-scale independent OEMs, but what they all have in common is a passionate
commitment to best practice within the Power Generation sector. When you
contact a supplier in this guide you can be reassured that you’re dealing with a
company that meets all the requirements of AMPS membership and has signed
up to our Articles of Association.
For the 2014 directory all information has been reviewed, improved and updated
to provide a valuable resource you’ll want to keep close at hand all year long.
And if there’s anything you’re after but still can’t find, please don’t hesitate to
contact us directly at AMPS.

AMPS Director General

Bryland are specialists in all types of Fire Suppression Systems and are
agents for the “FirePro” range of Condensed Aerosol Generators.
They can be heat or smoke activated and emit a Potassium Mist on
activation NOT A GAS, which chemically interferes with any source of
fire. This means they are not reliant upon the room integrity to work
correctly and can be used with louvres and semi-sealed enclosures.
Cleanup is very simple as there is virtually none, and recharging is
simply a case of changing the units that are kept in stock.
There are no pressurised containers to worry about and so are great
for fitting prior to transporting and with a 15 year life compared with
10 years for pressure based systems, they really are a “fit and forget”
very effective piece of fire protection.
FirePro is absolutely ideal for less technical spaces such as Genset
containers, Loadbanks etc where it was more traditional to use Water
Mist or Foam.

Bryland Fire Protection have been serving industry for over 40 years
