1. Introduction to Members of the Governing Council.
The Members of the Governing Council, Dr. R. Leela Velusamy, Dr.V.Selladurai,
Dr.V.Lakshmi Prabha, Dr.A.Kannan, Mr.Rajaram, and Mr.T.N.Sivakumar were
introduced to the Chairman. The members were taken around the Institution to see the
improvements made in Infrastructure and Laboratory facilities. The Members appreciated
the Chairman for the vision and the interest shown by the Management in making
contribution to the field of Higher Education.

Minutes of Planning and Monitoring Board
Meeting held on 20.06.2015 at 10.00 am in Board Room
1. HoDs are requested to organize FDPs / Seminars / Workshops atleast once in every
semester. Two guest lectures should be organized with guests invited from Industries
or leading Institutions. Guest Lectures may also be organized with external subject
experts on tough subjects.
2. Industry - Institute interaction should be established, indentifying Industries in
Coimbatore, Chennai and Bangalore to get projects and create opportunities for
students to undergo in-plant training. Experts from such Industries may be invited as
Chief Guests during the technical events in the college.
3. Co-curricular activities such as Project Design contest, Designing Software, Machine
Design and Quiz Programme may also be conducted to make the students active
learners.
