Modular Panel Frames

to be connected together with appropriate finishing pieces.

Panel Connectors
•Frames
are firmly secured with polypropylene vertical
connectors at any angle. Frames are quick and easy to
connect using a rubber mallet and allow for two-way/90
degree, 3-way, 4-way or straight-line configurations.
Frames are secured so that light is not transmitted through
the connectors. There is no creepage between in-line
connections.
•Two
types of adjustable longitudinal wall connectors
are available to match panel trim finishes.
Wall connectors adjust from 0" to 3", from 3" to 6".

fixed wall connector can attach a panel to the wall in

Laminate, Vinyl and Metal Handle Finishes
for Filing and Cabinetry
•Filing
and cabinetry are available in 23 laminate finishes.
•Drawer
handles are Melbourne in brushed nickel.
•Laminates
are finished with a combination of tape matching
the laminate and vinyl edge banding. Vinyl is available in
23 standard colors including wood grain finishes to match
standard laminates.
•Drawer
fronts may be specified with a different laminate
than the file or cabinets casing.
•COM
laminates are also available upon request.
Modular Electrical Distribution System
•Panel
frames can house a modular seven-wire and three
20-amp circuit electrical distribution system. One circuit
has the capacity to be completely isolated. Simplex
receptacles are modular and install without the use of
tools. They are factory-designated to identify which
circuit they supply.
•A
modular power entry block is available to energize
the system with a six-foot-long seven-wire whip for the
general contractor or owner’s electrical contractor to
connect into the building’s power supply. The entire
system is UL-listed and CSA-certified.
Wire Management
•Baseline
wire-management side covers are securely
hinged for easy access to cables and electrical; these
covers include receptacle and cable access.
Power Poles
•Power
poles offer the option of being divided to
provide for separation of electrical wiring from data
telecommunication cables and accommodate a factoryinstalled electrical harness for three 20-amp circuits.
•Power
poles supply power at a two-way/90-degree
connector, a three-way T-connector or a four-way/
90-degree connector.

Miscellaneous
•Task
lights are UL-listed, CSA-certified and available
in nominal widths of 24", 36" and 48".
•Task
lights hang from the bottom side of both open and
closed shelving units. They do not require the use of tools
to install and are shipped complete with a fluorescent
lamp, switch, cord and plug.
•Low-profile
black pencil drawers are 2" high and
provide ample storage without interfering with
under-desk knee-space.
Accessories
•Articulating
keyboard trays allow the user to swivel,
lift, lower and tilt the keyboard from the horizontal
position to a negative angle.
Certifications
• V.E.S. is GREENGUARD Certified for indoor air quality and
meets the emission level requirements of LEED Credit 4.5
and the BIFMA x7.1-2006 Conformance Standards (7).
