Description
For new construction. Thermally protected, labour savings recessed housing. Adjustable socket mounting plate.
Fixture can be used for direct contact with ceiling insulation and is AirSeal™ rated. For higher wattage lamps,
ceiling insulation must be a minimum of three inches from recessed fixture.

SPECIFICATIONS
1. Housing - Constructed of .032 aluminum.
Accommodates 1/2” thick ceilings. Housing can be
pushed up through plaster frame for access to junction
box. Accommodates lamps up to 150 watts, depending
on trim used and application to direct contact of ceiling
insulation. Ceiling opening of 6 5/16".
2. Plaster Frame - Die-stamped 24 gauge galvanized
steel. Accepts BH1 bar hangers horizontally or vertically
on short axis of housing, vertically on long axis of housing.
4. Bar Hangers - Pre-installed BH1 bar hangers telescope from 12 to 24 inches. Interlocking support tabs
provide smooth adjustment on bar hanger.
5. Junction Box - Extra-large 32 cubic inch 18 gauge
galvanized steel with two snap-on covers and grounding
pigtail. Knockouts for 1/2" and 3/4" conduit and 4
Romex knockouts with strain relief. Meets all safety
requirements of cETL and the N.E.C.
3. Socket - Medium base screw shell porcelain socket,
mounts with snap in clips to adjustable socket holder.
Stepless adjustable socket holder, retained by single
wingnut, adjusts vertically to accommodate various lamp
and trim options. Stamped gauge for socket position
accuracy.
6. Thermal Protection - Standard thermal protection
device inside housing automatically takes fixture out of
service if temperature becomes excessive from contact
with insulation, overlamping, or wrong lamp/trim combination.
8. C/ETL Certified for Damp Locations and Through
Branch Wiring.
9. AirSeal™: Fixture is AirSeal™ rated preventing the
passage of no more than two cubic feet of air per minute
through housing. Airseal rated to ASTM E283.
