Description of Position
flourish is looking for a Junior Graphic Designer to add to our award-winning creative team. At flourish, the role of a designer is instrumental in establishing the
foundation of each individual project, from designing concepts and thematic elements through photography, illustration, and production. This role is for someone
who is ready and willing to contribute from day one. The person in this position
must possess the creative know-how to “wow” our clients and the drive to produce
only the highest-level, original creative solutions through flawless technique. We are
looking for a dynamic team member who has the ability to adapt to the continually
changing needs of the agency, the clients, and the marketplace. Connecting with
our clients and working on a highly talented internal team is paramount. Is this you?
In addition to great creative, a Junior Graphic Designer must be able to bring solutions and take direction, participate in team meetings pertaining to specific projects,
be accountable to deadlines, the needs of the agency, and the goals of ownership.

Requirements
· College degree [BFA] or equivalent. 1 – 5 years experience.
·Must submit a digital portfolio showcasing capabilities and examples of previous work
·Technical aptitude and high-level skill set: excellent design, color, and
typographic skills; basic knowledge of color process, color theory, and
familiarity with commercial printing, bindery, and finishing; an eye for and solid
understanding of fashion and its current trends [styling experience is a plus];
versatility in print and interactive design; web design, UX, and UI capabilities
·Good communication skills. Must excel at email, phone, and in-person client
interactions. Participation in meetings and ability to work on multiple projects
and multiple disciplines at one time
·Detail oriented and HIGHLY ORGANIZED individual. Must demonstrate systematic
thinking, problem solving capabilities, and the ability to take direction
· Seeks solutions to issues that may arise with internal and external interactions
· MUST be proficient in Adobe creative suite
· Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word; Excel; PPT, Outlook) and Keynote
·Must have the ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Must
be flexible and willing to work extended hours when necessary
· High initiative and persistence, while also being comfortable asking questions
· Collaborative, positive, problem-solving attitude
· Desires to work in an open, close-knit, team environment
· Takes pride in the accuracy and quality of work produced
· Desire to go the extra mile to support client and agency needs
· Assist in business development when necessary
· References may be requested for prior work and educational experience
·Must possess a good sense of humor and a desire to work in a positive and fun
environment
Physical/Travel Requirements
·This position is an “in office” environment. At present, the position does not
support a remote workspace
·Travel may be required on a limited basis to support on-site client meetings,
photo shoots, and partner/vendor coordination
