Enclosure shall be NEMA 1 fabricated from 14 Ga. steel and powder coated black.

The dead front cover of the enclosure shall contain a windows with recessed panels that expose the circuit breaker handles. The top of the handles shall be below the plane of the dead front panel.

Feed (Line) entrance shall be via conduit through the top of the enclosure to lugs on Main Breaker or Main Bus.
5.
Feed shall terminate either to terminals on main bus in units without a main breaker or to terminals on main breaker in units provided with a Main breaker.

Service connection shall be through conduit to lugs on bus/breaker, sized for copper conductors as listed:

Main Bus shall be copper bar, sized 1 sq. in. in cross-section per 1,000A.

The Main and sub breakers shall be a Listed, 3-pole, molded case type, with a current interrupt rating of 65k AIC at 240V.
9.
One set of red indicator lights shall be provided, per sub breaker to indicate phase voltage is available at the phase receptacles the respective sub breakers are protecting.
10. Company Switches with Series 16 Cam or SafeCam® type receptacles shall contain slots between each receptacle to eliminate hysteresis, as required by the NEC.
11. Company Switches with Posi-Lok™ type receptacles shall be provided with the outlet panel only.

13. A warning label shall be permanently attached to enclosure, as required by NEC Art. 520-53k3. This label shall specify the proper sequence for connection and removal of cable plugs.
14. One (1) set of receptacles shall be provided for each branch breaker.
15. The receptacle panel shall contain slots between receptacles to eliminate hysteresis, as required by the NEC.
16. All connections from the main bus or breaker to the branch breakers and to the receptacles shall be by copper bus.
17. The Company Switch shall have the option to be suitable for rating as service entrance equipment.
18. The Company Switch shall meet or exceed all applicable NEC standards and shall be UL Listed. A label denoting the UL
Listing shall be permanently affixed to the unit.
19. The manufacturer shall provide a completely factory assembled, wired and tested Company Switch.
20. The Company Switch shall be a CSC type, as manufactured by Union Connector Co., Inc.
