This manual will guide you through the basic installation of the Control Panel. • Determining the location and placement • Mounting Control Panel • Adding Power to the Control Panel Description The View Control Panel (with Class 2 outputs) houses the control components and power source that are responsible for the operation of a View Dynamic Glass system. The output ports of this control panel are power limited to 24VDC and meet the 100VA requirements of a Class 2 classified circuit as defined by the National Electric Code (NEC). The Control Panel should be placed in the location determined by the General Contractor as seen on the Interconnect Drawings (schematics). The Control Panel is indicated by a ( ) on the Interconnect Drawing. If there are multiple Control Panels for the installation, they will be marked with their designated location and labeled to coincide with the Interconnect Drawings. 2. Before mounting the Control Panel to the wall, be sure enough clearance is provided to install the Trunk Line and Power Insert cables as required. See mounting error below. 3. Securely mount the Control Panel through the 4 eyelids onto the wall using industry standard mounting practices. Open the front panel to reveal the inside of the Control Panel. Configure the AC Power wiring as shown on the silver panel. Note: The silver panel must be removed to complete the installation of the AC Power wiring. 4. Once the AC Power is installed, turn the Control Panel on. 5. Verify the green light is illuminated on the front of the Control Panel. Once verified, turn the Control Panel off.
