The Control Panel:
Home Screen
THE HOME SCREEN
The home screen is the primary screen shown on the Control Panel. It is divided into three
sections: The header/status bar, the primary user interface and the footer/help bar.
The home screen allows you to arm or disarm your system, monitor the overall status of
your system and access other frequently used menus and applications.

Pressing the Home
button brings you
back to your home
screen no matter
what menu you are in.
Pressing the
Emergency button
allows you to quickly
enable a panic alarm
(details on Page 5).
STATUS TYPES AND COLOR CODES
The header bar is color coded to show the date, time and current status
The green header is labeled “System Ready – Disarmed” and indicates that all of the sensors
are closed and the system is ready to be armed.
The yellow header is labeled “System Not Ready – Disarmed” and indicates that one or more
of the sensors are open.
The red header is labeled “System Armed” and indicates the arming type (Stay or Away)
Note: When armed, the Home button and Emergency button will glow red.

Arming and Disarming
ARMING
When this icon is green, the system is ready to be armed. Press this icon to
select arming options.
Arm Stay
Arms only exterior Door and Window Sensors and Glass
Break Sensors. Used when your home will be occupied.
Arm Away
Arms all of your sensors and is used when your home will
be unoccupied.
Bypass
Bypass sensors easily by checking the box next to the sensor
name on the right side of the screen. The panel shows you
the status of each sensor.
Exit Sounds
The panel beeps as the arming timer counts down. You can
silence these beeps by pressing this icon before you choose
an arming type.
Entry Delay
You have 30 seconds to disarm when your armed system
detects activity (door opening, motion detected, etc.). Disable
this delay by pressing this icon.

Arming and Disarming
DISARMING
When the system is armed and it detects activity (door opening, motion detected, etc.),
the panel will start a 30–second countdown (unless previously turned off), allowing the
user time to enter their code without triggering the alarm.
Quick Exit
When the system is armed, press the Quick Exit icon to
begin a 120-second period where you can open doors
without disarming the system. Stay mode only.
Disarm Photos
When you disarm the system from the panel, the built-in
camera will automatically take a photograph and store it
in your Camera menu, along with the date and time the
panel was disarmed. (Note: If an invalid user code was
attempted, the system will log this as well.)
Alarm Photo
If the system is not disarmed within the allotted time, the
siren will sound and the panel’s camera will take a picture.
This picture is stored in your Camera menu for later
review.

Alarm Event
ALARM EVENT
When the alarm is triggered, the Control Panel will sound the siren and display a red
alarm screen. The panel will automatically contact our monitoring station. To disarm,
touch the screen and enter your 4-digit passcode.
WHO’S CALLING?
To ensure you know when we are calling you about an alarm event, we strongly suggest
you program this number into your phone: 800-932-3822. We will ask you for your
Frontpoint passcode so we can verify we are speaking with you.

Panic Alarms
PANIC ALARMS
In an emergency, press the Emergency button (the “+” button) which is located below the
touch screen.
When pressed, the panel will display the Emergency Services page, with access to police,
fire and medical emergency alarms. Press the appropriate icon until the siren sounds.
Silence Siren
To silence the siren while you wait for the
monitoring station to respond, press the Silence
Siren icon.
Cancel Request/
False Alarm
Press the Cancel button to cancel an emergency
request. You will need to enter your user code.
Even if you press the Cancel button, you still need
to call the monitoring station to cancel the alarm
at 800-932-3822.

Weather
WEATHER
The Weather menu allows you to see both current conditions and a 4-day
forecast.
TODAY’S FORECAST
Today’s forecast is displayed on the weather icon with a graphical representation of expected precipitation, as well as the high and low temperatures for
the day.
4-DAY FORECAST
Press the Weather icon to get a 4-day weather forecast.

Camera
CAMERA
The Camera menu allows you to access both the panel’s camera as well as
any connected Image Sensor(s).
Disarm Photos
The panel will automatically take a photo every time an
attempt is made to disarm the panel. The 20 most recent
images are saved in the camera app under “Disarm
Photos” and also store the date, time, and whether the
code used was valid.
Image Sensor
The panel can support up to 5 Image Sensors. When
pictures are taken, they will be saved and can be viewed
from this app.
Alarm Photo
If the system is not disarmed within the allotted time,
the siren will sound and the panel’s camera will take a
picture. These pictures are stored in this menu for review.

Status
STATUS
The Status menu is divided into four sections: Current Status, Alerts, Alarms
and History.
Current Status
Status and settings for each sensor are shown in the list. Scroll with
your finger to see additional sensors. To see the history for a specific
sensor, press View.
Alerts
Alerts are messages about your system and sensors. The total
number of unacknowledged Alerts messages appears in the red
bubble counter on this tab. You can view and delete alerts collectively
or one at a time by acknowledging the alert on the panel.
Alarms
Alarms lists all unacknowledged messages about alarm events.
History
See a complete history of your panel and sensor activity. The most
recent 100 items are displayed.

Home Control
HOME CONTROL
The Home Control menu gives you access to a menu featuring home
automation and control features. Usage of these devices requires
Frontpoint’s Interactive or Ultimate Monitoring plans.
Home Control Status
See the current status of all your home automation
devices connected to your Control Panel.
Thermostat
See and adjust the current temperature or
change the HVAC type.
Smart Socket
(Not Currently Supported)
See the status of each device, turn devices on or
off, and view details about energy usage.
Door Locks
See the status of each lock and send a “lock” or
“unlock” signal.
Lights
Turn any connected lights on or off directly from
this menu.

Applications
A
APPS
The Apps menu allows you access to a menu of useful applications. Because
the panel runs off of an Android operating system, you’ll be able to download
and use a variety of apps, as they are developed.
Clean Screen
Pressing this will completely deactivate the touchscreen
for 30 seconds, giving you time to clean it. Press the
home button to reactivate the screen.
Safety Sensors
Learn sensors into non-alarm locations such as pool
gates, cleaning supply, interior doors and other items
that pose a safety hazard to family members. Contact
Frontpoint Support to set up safety sensors.
History
See a complete history of your panel and sensor activity.
The most recent 100 items are displayed.
Alerts
Alerts are messages about your system and sensors.
You can view and delete alerts collectively or one at a
time by acknowledging the alert on the panel.

A
APPS
Photo Frame
Turn your panel’s screen into a digital photo frame when
it’s not being used.
When you open the Photo Frame app, you will see
thumbnails of the images saved in the panel, as well as
buttons to play slideshow now, edit your settings and load
new images.
Pressing the Settings icon will allow you to access settings
to customize your photo frame experience with preferences like duration and effects.
To preview a photo, touch the picture from the photo
frame app. It will expand to full screen. To exit, touch the
“Back” icon.
To load new images from your SD card, follow the steps
below:
1) Load your photos onto an SD Card
a. Save images inside a folder named “Photos” or “DCIM”
b. Images with a resolution higher that 800 x 480
are not supported.
2) Insert the SD card into the panel.
3) Press “Replace All Photos” to delete all existing photos and
save the new ones, or press “Add New Photos” to add new
photos to the existing phtos already stored on the panel.
4) Wait about 1 minute for the images to load completely
before removing the SD card from the panel.
Sound
Adjust the sound settings for every aspect of your
Touchscreen panel.
Espanol
Pressing this icon will change the language of the entire
control panel to Spanish.

Settings
SETTINGS
The first icon in the footer/help section is the “Settings” menu. Inside settings
you’ll access a variety of options to customize the panel’s interface and abilities
to your location and situation. You will need your master code to access this
part of the system.
System Settings
WIRELESS SETTINGS
View your current network or connect to a new
one. Connecting to a local Wi-Fi network will
allow you to receive system updates over the
air. You may be required to enter your network
password.
SOUND
Adjust the sound settings for your panel.
BRIGHTNESS
Change the panel’s brightness.
SD CARD
Shows available space of an SD Card inserted
into your Control Panel.
DATE & TIME
Change the date and time on your panel. This
is automatically set by Frontpoint once the
panel establishes a cellular connection.

Settings
User Managment
Add, delete or edit the names, access level and individual access codes for those who
access your system.
You can create users in the following categories:
MASTER: Access panel functions as well as system settings.
USER: Access panel functions, but NOT system settings.
GUEST: Used to give access to those users who will only use the
panel on a temporary basis.
When you make a change to a user, it will automatically update the information on
your MyFrontpoint account. When you make a change to a user on your
MyFrontpoint account, it will automatically update the information on your panel.
System Tests
WI-FI TEST
Test your Wi-Fi connection.
SENSOR TEST
Test your sensors regularly to verify sensors are
communicating with your panel.
CELLULAR TEST
Test the Cellular connection of your control panel with
Frontpoint.
Edit Sensor
Use this menu to Edit sensors sensor name and chime type and turn voice prompts
on or off.
CUSTOM DESCRIPTION
The panel can read almost any name and speak it
when the sensor is opened. Customize your system
with specific names like “Megan’s Upstairs Bedroom
Window” by selecting “Custom Description” under
“Sensor Name.”
Panel Reboot
Restart the control panel without having to unplug the AC Power. When you press the icon,
there will be a screen prompting you to confirm you want to restart your control panel.
Power Down
Pressing this icon will completely shut down your panel. This feature should only be used
when you will not be using your system for an extended period of time, such as moving.
