I. INTRODUCTION
The Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Directory is published in hard copy
annually. The Directory lists those DBE firms with current certification by the
Wyoming Department of Transportation. This publication is provided for
informational purposes only, and is subject to revision. Periodic updates
indicating any change will be published on the WYDOT web site. (See below.)
The types of work listed in the Directory are those proposed by each DBE. The
Wyoming Department of Transportation does not certify or pre-qualify a DBE for
the types of work proposed, and accordingly, does not guarantee the capability,
dependability or availability of any DBE listed; nor can it be assumed that nay
DBE listed qualifies as a Regular Dealer (supplier) in materials.
Out-of-State DBE firms must be concurrently certified by the Wyoming
Department of Transportation and the State Highway Agency in their resident
State prior to the bid letting in order for their participation in a contract to be
counted toward the contract DBE participating goal.
A DBE firm that is subcontracting or acting as a material supplier on a Federalaid highway project must perform a commercially useful function. Failure to
perform a commercially useful function may be grounds for decertification.
If you have any questions regarding the DBE certifications status of firms listed in
the Directory, or firms claiming certified status which are not listed in the
Directory, please contact the DBE Certification Officer of the Wyoming
Department of Transportation.
