Description / bustec offers an additional option which combines two monochrome LED colours to, for example, clearly
delineate the line/route or pictogram representation from the actual text content. You can choose from any combination
of the colours white, amber and green.
Thanks to the modular board structure, the resolution size (24/32/48 etc.) of display area for “Line/route and pictograms”
can be freely selected. This model can be an interesting option, even for longer-term “temporary services” since it may
be retrofitted at a later date.

Description / The combination of both LED technologies,
monochrome and RGB in SMD technology, to represent
coloured lines/routes offers a cost-effective alternative to
monochrome LED displays. The option of a black (or coloured) contrasting line/route clearly separates the colour
background area from the coloured information. The strict
“modular” structure of the bustec display systems ensures
there is no break (visible separation) between the two display technologies within the overall raster of the display.
This makes the overall appearance of the display completely
homogenous.

Description / With the RGB multicolour LED display, bustec
brings colour into play. Each individual LED can be controlled
individually and may be used to create up to 256 different colours. This provides countless design options for the representation of information. The user-friendly “VISE Editor” enables
detailed editing of texts and colours as well as ensuring information can be saved to the LED displays. In order to ensure
that the represented lines/routes and pictograms are clear to
read, the “VISE” program can be used to program a contrasting
line/route into the RGB LED field using black or a third colour.

ANNOUNCEMENT TECHNOLOGY
natural
Description / bustec announcement technology
meets and expands the information needs of the
passengers by way of the new bustec generation
of devices. Compact in design and available as 19”
built-in device or as stand-alone, the announcement
devices from bustec can be integrated in the vehicle for
any purpose. They can reliably and simply be used to
transfer and prepare a variety of data formats via USB/
Ethernet interface.
bustec announcement systems are available with
and without amplifiers in both low-cost and high-end
systems with 4-32 GB of storage. The BT800 is also
able to act as “central unit” to supply to TFT (LCD)
information displays in HD resolution via DVI.
Whether you are using the latest MP3 format, spoken
or synthesized speech, bustec announcement technology
is characterised by high sound quality at cost-effective,
entry prices - thus enabling entry into the acoustic
world and providing additional information to the
passenger on board. This added information is highly
valued, particularly by passengers with impaired
vision.
The announcement system BT800 is an Ethernet
based system. This makes it possible to use VoIP, for
example, the BT820 for announcements or messages
made from the driver’s microphone. Easy to handle and
easily fitted to vehicles, the systems are also simple
and maintenance-free when in use. The announcement
systems are controlled via the on-board computer.
Various default interfaces, for example, IBIS, RS485

The bustec VoIP system is designed as a digital
intermediary between the driver’s microphone and the
announcement system or loudspeaker.
The BT820 is used, in particular, in larger vehicles
(e.g. bi-directional vehicles), which have longer cable
lengths between the microphone and the amplifier, and
is thus able to provide greater sound quality compared
to traditional systems.

PRODUCTION
bustec
The creation of a new product starts with the development phase. Generally speaking, we work very closely with our
customers in order to take their individual requirements into account as best we can. After developing the concept
and working out the drawn and technical bases, the project continues with the manufacture of functional samples
and sample housings. When all functional testing has been completed, we start series production.
Our extremely modern development and production locations ensure we are well prepared for the task. The series
systems and components are produced by some 180 employees at our production site in Blansko in the Czech Republic,
in original equipment manufacturer quality. Our production places great value on ensuring that our control and
information systems meet the latest in technical and sustainable standards. Of course, bustec is certified according
to ISO 9001.
