Features
The Ascent® LED downlight module fits into a 6” IC and Non-IC new
construction, remodel and retrofit recessed cans. With the LED
driver mounted to the top of the die-cast, the total height of the
unit is 4.94” (125.6mm). The Ascent® LED’s 600 lumens at
13.7W surpass the performance of a 65W BR30 incandescent
lamp and the 18W CFL system.
Optical
Guaranteed single binning color consistency with enhanced
illumination uniformity. Available in 3000K and a CRI = 84.
The specular aluminum reflector is to optically control light output.
Light distribution uniformity within ±60 degree beam angle.
Construction
The downlight module design utilizes a durable die-cast aluminum
heat sink assists in the thermal management keep the system cool
to achieve the 50,000 hours at 70% lumen maintenance.
Electrical
The 120V, 50/60Hz high efficiency LED driver has a power factor
(PF) 0.92. Operating temperature range is -20°C (-4°F) to
50°C (122°F). Dims down to 10% light output with approved
dimmer. American Fluorescent provides a 3 year limited warranty
only when used with approved IC cans, Non-IC cans and
120V compatible dimmers.
Lamping
Meets ENERGY STAR® SSL standards. Guaranteed single
binning color consistency with enhanced illumination uniformity.

Safety Precautions:
Read all safety precautions and installation instructions carefully before installing or servicing this fixture. Failure to comply with these instructions could result in potentially fatal electric shock and/or property

To accomplish proper grounding, there must be a separate ground wire (green) or bare metal contact (metal conduit) between this fixture and the ground connection of your main power supply panel. This fixture is intended to be used for general indoor lighting in dry or damp locations only.
• Do not attempt to install or use the L606M series until you read and understand the installation instructions and safety labels.
• Verify power is off before installing or uninstalling.
• Do not use the L606M if the lens, housing, or power cables are damaged.
• The L606M series has line voltage risk of shock and no user serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open them.

4. Squeeze torsion springs together and install into torsion spring brackets inside recessed housing.
3. Remove existing trim and CFL/Incandescent lamp to reveal the screw‐in Edison style socket. Remove socket from plate. Connect the Edison style connector to the revealed socket . To prevent the wires from twisting during this process, rotate the L606M in the same direction as the Edison connector is screwed in.

NOTE: If housing does not have torsion spring receivers, replace housing with one that is compatible with the L606M series (see complete list below).
NOTE: If a GU24 socket is present, a GU24 (G) connector will be required. 5.
Carefully route wires into fixture and push L606M up, flush with
ceiling surface.

3 YEAR PRODUCT LIMITED WARRANTY
American Fluorescent Corporation (The Company) warrants the LED L606M series and lighting sources
against defects in material or workmanship for a period of three years from date of original purchase,
and the Company agrees to repair or, at the Company's option, replace a defective product without
charge for either replacement parts or labor during such time.

purchaser’s receipt or other proof original purchase acceptable to the Company is required before
warranty performance shall be rendered. This warranty only covers product failure due to defects in

caused by accident, misuse, abuse, lack of reasonable care, alteration, faulty installation, acts of
nature, subjecting the product to any but the specified electrical service or any other failure not
resulting from defects in materials or workmanship. Damage to the product caused by separately
purchased, non‐Company supplied, or non Company qualified components as well as corrosion or
discoloration of components are not covered by this warranty. There are no express warranties
except as described above.
ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, IF ANY, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTS OF MERCHANT ABILITY AND
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE DURATION OF THIS
EXPRESS WARRANTY. The exclusions or limitations allowed by law may vary from state to state.
The Company authorizes no other warranty, written or verbal. This warranty provides specific legal
rights, and other rights, which vary from state to state, may also apply. To obtain warranty service,
please call American Fluorescent Corporation at 847.249.5970 and provide product information, the
issue, contact name, contact address and telephone number. You will be contacted with a solution or
a Return Goods Authorization number and full instructions for returning the product. The Return
Goods Authorization (RGA) Number issued by the Company must accompany products and must be
returned freight prepaid. Any product received without a Return Goods Authorization Number from
the Company will be refused. The Company is not responsible for merchandise damaged in transit.
Repaired or replaced products shall be subject to the terms of this warranty and are inspected when
packed. Evident or concealed damage that is made in transit should be reported at once to the
carrier making the delivery and a claim filed with them.
THE COMPANY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL,
INCIDENTAL SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
RESULTING FROM THE USE OF THE PRODUCT OR A RISING OUT OF ANY BREACH OF THIS WARRANTY.
