SSRU Small Universal Mount Semi-Recessed
MOUNTING- See Mounting Details above. Adjustable and lockable yoke design
with aiming adjustment below ceiling. Installation from above or below ceiling
(accessible or inaccessible ceiling types). Additional support may be required by
local codes. Auxiliary mounting holes are provided for hanger wire or threaded rods
(by others). If hanger wire suspension is not possible, specify Hanger Bracket (HB)
option to accept suspension bars (not provided).
TYPE- Small profile with smooth detail.
Indoor; Captive, extruded aluminum hinge with non-gasketed regressed lens.
Lens; Micro prismatic tempered glass lens standard.
PERFORMANCE- Asymmetric distribution provides a concentration of light on target
surface for smooth illumination. Maximum candlepower aimed 25° above nadir has
less than 8% spill light within the 0-25° zone and less than 2% spill light within the
90-180° zone.
ELECTRICAL- Remote electronic ballasts operate within 120V to 277V range and
are thermally protected. Provide 90º C wire for supply connections.
PROFILE- P1 (basic): Anodized, extruded aluminum specular reflector with solid
aluminum endcaps and stainless steel hardware. Extruded aluminum glare control
visor can be combined with P1 basic profile to create P5 profile.
FINISHES- 6 stage pre-treated polyester powder coat painted finish. All hardware
is stainless steel.

OVERALL NOTES:
1. When installing more than one ballast in a common area, a minimum 12" spacing between ballast enclosures.
More space may be required dependent on ambient temperature within environment.
2. Provide ventilation in the area where ballasts are installed.
3. Mount away from heat generating devices and ductwork.
4. Use 90ºC rated wire for supply connections.
5. A separate 1/2" metal conduit must be used between each fixture and remote ballast.
6. Knock-out locations may vary from those shown above.
