Dali NMS 2.0
Dali’s Network Management System (NMS) 2.0 is a
powerful and easy-to-use network management system
that allows a centralized view of the Dali’s radio
distribution network that consists of Dali’s RF Router™,
and indoor & outdoor remotes. This includes the tSeries®, t-Series® PS, and High Density System (HDS™).
Dali NMS 2.0 combined with Dali’s RF Router unique
digital end-to-end RF signal processing brings Software
Defined Network technology (SDN) to the antenna
through Radio Access Network (RAN) virtualization.
Dali’s NMS provides comprehensive management
capabilities including fault, configuration, inventory,
performance, and security management from a Network
Operations Center (NOC). With centralized monitoring
and control, radio distribution networks can now be
effectively managed from any browser-compatible
device, anywhere in the world. This removes operational
complexity by streamlining the management of small to
large radio distribution networks in multi-vendor, multitechnology and multi-operator environments.
Dali’s NMS employs an open-standard SNMP interface
that works seamlessly with third-party NMS systems. It
can be located with the tHost at the head-end and
accessed through any computer with a Web browser or
within the NOC. NMS connects to the tHosts at the headend over a secure IP network.
Features
Cascaded RF Routers
• Multiple mobile operators’ base stations resources/signal can be
aggregated and transported over a single fiber to the radio remotes
• Additional RF Routers or mobile operators can be added in a plugand-play fashion through a click of a button on the GUI without
service disruption
• Dali NMS 2.0 automatically detects and creates the software
connections between RF Routers when the optical cables are
installed
Guaranteed Power Allocation
• In a multi-operator environment, power allocation is essential in
guaranteeing that each operator has the appropriate power budget
even when the signal is aggregated and transmitted over a single
fiber to the radio remotes
• Power allocation is set as a percentage per mobile operator on the
GUI. This ensures precise and accurate power allocation based on
service level agreements
Dynamic Capacity Allocation
• Capacity can be routed to where and when it’s needed through
the easy-to-use GUI
• Routing plans are set up through the GUI and can be executed as
an one time event or on a recurring schedule
