A: Once the customer has the PIN in their possession it is not refundable. If a PIN is dispensed in error it can be
submitted for refund. As long as the PIN was not used the store will receive full credit.

Q: Do I charge sales tax or E911 taxes for Gift Card GalleryTM cards?
A: Gift cards are not a taxable event. The taxable event occurs when a purchase is made using the retailers’ gift
card. They aren't taxable till they are used. The reason is that some items such as grocery store food items are
exempt from state sales tax, and the store has no way of knowing what they are going to purchase until the user
actually makes the purchase.
