Springs, CO 80907 I 719.598.0200 I coloradotech.edu NOTES: 1. A non-refundable Graduation Fee will be charged to the student’s account during their final term. The graduation fee covers one diploma and diploma cover, two official university transcripts, honor cord (if applicable), regalia (if the graduate is attending a ground graduation ceremony), and costs related to the production of the annual ground graduation ceremony. In order to participate in a ground graduation ceremony, each eligible student must complete the entire registration process by the published deadline. Students who do not register by the deadline and receive a registration confirmation from the university will forfeit the opportunity to receive regalia and participate in a ground graduation ceremony. Regardless of ceremony participation, all graduates will receive their diploma kit at their home address approximately 6-8 weeks following their final term (provided all financial and academic obligations are met). 2. A Lab Fee of $50 is applied for each class offering a lab as part of the course, or as indicated in course descriptions, or in special circumstances (e.g. field trips, etc.). The fee helps defray the expense of equipment and additional materials used in the course. 3. Online courses provide an opportunity for students to take courses online. In addition to normal tuition and fees, students will be charged an Online Course Fee of $150 for each online course for the additional technology resources necessary. Possible online course fees are not reflected in program fees shown and would be incremental. 4. The Student Senate Fee supports all student activities, student organizations, resources for student needs, and the enhancement of external activities for students. This non-refundable $5 fee is charged per term. 5. A Student Service Fee is charged each term to support the resource center, administration hardware and software systems for student records, course scheduling, data management, financial aid, student accounts, registration, academic advising, maintenance of external facilities, parking lot and special community and student service activities. Students are charged a non-refundable fee of $70 per term. 6. A $1,000 non-refundable Doctoral Symposium Fee is charged to a student’s account each term in which a student is registered for symposium. This fee covers administrative costs such as conference rooms, AV equipment, academic event materials and supplies that are associated with the symposium event. Please see the Doctoral Symposium section of the catalog for more information. 7. Total Tuition Cost is based upon the total number of credits in a degree program. Standard fees charged by the University are not included in the total program cost, and are incremental to program cost stated on this schedule. The total number of credits taken at Colorado Technical University may vary due to transfer credits, block transfer, or repeated courses. Students possessing an earned Associate degree from an accredited institution at the time of admission to Colorado Technical University may be eligible for a block transfer of credits into select Bachelor’s degree programs. See the Degree Programs section of the catalog for descriptions of the degree programs. 8. Program tuition is charged per credit hour at the beginning of each term throughout the student’s program. Each academic term is 11 weeks, and includes two 5 1/2 week sessions. 9. The university reserves the right to increase institutional program rates during the course of an academic year. As such, a student’s financial aid packaging may be subject to adjustment to account for these monetary changes. Students may be required to complete some coursework for the program via online delivery. 1 CTU cannot guarantee employment or salary. Find employment rates, financial obligations and other disclosures at www.coloradotech.edu/disclosures. Not all programs are available to residents of all states. 801-0964985 1045297 3/16 Rev. 2 022916 Page 4 of 4
