Colorado Springs is home to the United State Air Force Academy, Colorado College, University of Colorado Colorado Springs, Pikes Peak Community College and the Olympic Training Center. Coronado is a comprehensive high school for grades nine through twelve. Coronado is accredited by the Colorado Department of Education and is home to several award-winning Academic, Arts, Career & Technical, and Vocational programs including: AVID, Choir, CU Gold Succeed, FIRST Robotics, Orchestra and Jazz Band, Project-Lead-the-Way, ProStart, STEM Academy, and Teacher Cadet.
