determined by RP-8 recommended illuminance, in average footcandles, for applications
common to those wattages)
Warm White Light: Average correlated color temperature (CCT) is 2800K with a CRI of 70
Integrated Philips CosmoPolis™ platform uses a dual-pin twistlock ceramic metal halide
lamp (not included) and specialized electronic driver. This platform offers long life, high
efficiency and reliable color quality through end of life
ELECTRICAL
Long Life: Lamps have a rated life of 20,000 hours (60W) and 30,000 hours (90W)
Lower Energy: Saves an average of 20% over comparable HPS platforms (actual savings
will depend on the HPS product’s wattage and ballast type)
Surge protection (integral to driver) meets IEEE/ANSI C62.41-1991 Category C2 criteria
for 277V operation
MECHANICAL
Easy to Maintain: Includes standard AEL lineman-friendly features (such as tool-less
cupola and NEMA photocontrol receptacle, terminal block and quick disconnects). The
electrical platform and durable housing materials provide superior longevity and reduce
the need for maintenance
Rugged die-cast aluminum housing is polyester powder-coated for durability and
corrosion resistance
Applications:
Hinged hood and captive screws afford quick, easy access to electrical and optical area
for relamping or servicing. Die-cast trigger latch available for tool-less entry (TL option)

Contoured cupola lens prevents wildlife ingress
Slipfitter with three set screws provides secure installation to pole sizes 2-3/8” or 3” O.D.
CONTROLS
DIMENSIONS
NEMA photocontrol receptacle is standard; tool-less “lift and turn” cupola rotates in
tandem with receptacle for easy photocontrol orientation.
