Welcome to Aviair!
Formerly known as Slingair Heliwork WA, we have been busy developing our new tour
program for the 2015 to 2016 holiday season. There has been lots of changes, all of
which have been designed to enhance your scenic tour experience and to deliver an
exciting memorable taste of the East Kimberley.
As we enter our 30th year of operation we actually become younger! Having
completed an enhancement of our fleet, we are proud to operate one of the youngest
fleet of scenic tour aircraft in the East Kimberley, all of which are powered by Pratt and
Whitney Prop Jet engines, offer an air-conditioned cabin, large windows, and high
wings for your scenic viewing pleasure. With Aviair there’s no need to wear headsets
as we offer an informative live commentary across our aircraft PA system as you fly
across some of the most beautiful scenery in the world.
Our commitment extends to offering an exceptional experience. We have also teamed
up with a number of other quality tour operators and continue to offer scenic fixed wing
aircraft tours in conjunction with helicopter flights, lake, and river cruises to provide the
ultimate air, land, and water taste of the region.

About Aviair
Previously known as Slingair Heliwork WA, Aviair
was established in 1984 and have grown to become a
leader in scenic air tours of the magnificently beautiful
Kimberley region of Western Australia.
Based in Kununurra, the heart of the East
Kimberley region, with bases at Broome
and Port Hedland, we offer a range of
air safaris, Bungle Bungle flights, and
tailor made tour itineraries. In addition we
operate other essential services including
emergency extraction, mail, private
charter, regular passenger transport,
photographic, and search and rescue
flights to remote communities.
Kununurra is the gateway to the East
Kimberley region and the Bungle
Bungles. A tropical town of almost 8,000
residents, it is 42km from the Northern
Territory border and services tens of
thousands of tourists each year with the
main tourist season being from April to
October. With over 30 years’ experience
in remote outback aircraft operations,
our personalised service will ensure your
scenic air tour, charter flight, or air transfer
are completed in comfort and style.

Our tailored air safaris and fly/drive tours
showcase famous Kimberley attractions,
including the Bungle Bungle range in
the World Heritage listed Purnululu
National Park, Lake Argyle, Mitchell
Falls, King George Falls and the Argyle
Diamond Mine. Aviair solely operates the
Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft, which it
introduced into the Kimberley in 1994.
The Cessna Grand Caravan is a Prop
Jet, fully air-conditioned, high wing, PA
equipped aircraft. The aircraft offers a
centre aisle and greater legroom and
headroom than any other scenic flight
aircraft in the Kimberley. In addition the
safety and reliability record of this aircraft
type is one of the highest in its class,
thereby maximising passenger safety and
comfort.
Aviair is a subsidiary of the Aviator
Group, a general aviation specialist with
operations around Australia. Our Cessna
Grand Caravan fleet offers an aircraft seat
capacity of 10 to 13 passengers.

General Terms and Conditions
1. Aviair
Aviair Pty Ltd (trading as Aviair) [ABN 94 009 145 055], whose usual place of business is 319 Laine Jones Drive, Kununurra, Western Australia, 6743, hereafter referred to
as us/we/our, is a subsidiary of the Aviator Group Pty Ltd, a general aviation specialist with operations around Australia. We operate a fleet of Cessna 208 Grand Caravan
prop jet aircraft each with a passenger seat capacity of between 10 and 13.
2. Aircraft
We are proud to operate a fleet of young and modern Cessna 208 Grand Caravan aircraft. The Cessna 208 Grand Caravan, is a prop jet, fully air-conditioned, high wing
aircraft equipped with a PA system. In addition, the safety and reliability record of this aircraft type is one of the highest in its class thereby maximising passenger safety
and comfort. We are proud to operate the youngest fleet of scenic tour aircraft in the East Kimberley.
3. Cancellation and amendments
Should a customer wish to cancel participation in a tour where full payment has been made the following cancellation fees apply:

Should a customer wish to amend the date of their participation in a tour where full payment has been made the following amendment fees apply:

permitted subject to availability with a charge of 20% of tour price paid.
Between 7 and 28 days before tour scheduled time of departure
Tour upgrade permitted free of amendment fee and subject to availability. Tour downgrade
permitted subject to an amendment fee of $25. Tour date change permitted free of
charge.
In the event of a tour being cancelled by us, customers will be entitled to a full refund without penalty. Minimum customer numbers are required on some tours. As with all
responsible tour operators, we recommend that customers are covered by travel insurance for the entire duration of their journey away from home.
4. Child Age/Infant Policy
Infants are classified as 0 to 2 years of age, and may travel free of charge on their parent’s lap. All children must wear a lap belt provided. No passengers may travel
unrestrained.
Children are classified as 3-12 years of age inclusive and must be accompanied by an adult on the flight. Verification of age may be requested prior to tour departure.
5. Commentary
All scenic flights include personalised commentary made by the pilot during the flight. All tour commentaries and safety briefings are conducted in English.
6. Complimentary inclusions with all tours
We offer courtesy airport transfers from all Kununurra accommodation providers. Pick up will be made 45 minutes prior to schedule time of tour departure. Customers are
entitled to complimentary chilled bottled water and refreshing face towels.Passengers must present themselves at our check-in facility at the Aviair terminal a minimum of
30 minutes prior to scheduled departure time when making their own way to our terminal. Late check-in may result in refusal to travel and forfeiture of price paid.
7. Customer weight
Customer and approximate hand baggage weights must be provided to us at time of booking. All customers and baggage will be weighed prior to tour departure for
safety and operational reasons. Hand luggage is restricted to a maximum of 10kgs per passenger. Any excess hand luggage weight may be charged for.
8. Disabled Passengers
We welcome customers with impaired mobility. We must be advised a minimum of 48 hours prior to scheduled time of departure with the level of assistance required and
whether the customer is using a wheelchair. This allows us to ensure that we can accommodate the customer’s needs and deliver the highest levels of care and comfort.
Wheelchairs can be carried on our aircraft, providing they are collapsible. For health and safety reasons, we are not permitted to lift a customer into or out of the aircraft.
9. Fuel Surcharge
In the event of significant upward movement in the cost of aviation fuel, we reserve the right to introduce a fuel surcharge. This shall be advised in writing no less than two
months prior to its commencement, and will be additionally advised at the time of booking confirmation.
10. Government and additional charges
Our tour prices are fully inclusive of all government, environmental and airport levies.
11. Personal items
All care is taken to protect customer personal items but no liability is accepted for loss or damage to them. Prior to leaving our aircraft, customers should ensure they
have all personal belongings with them.
12. Seasonality
The start and end of the scheduled season may vary due to weather conditions.
13. Seniors
Where a senior rate is available the senior must be in possession of a valid senior’s card issued by an Australia State Government.
14. Tour downgrades and upgrades
Customers may downgrade and upgrade their tours in accordance with the abovementioned cancellation and amendment tables.
15. Validity of rates
Prices quoted are subject to change and are in Australia dollars (AU$). Tours paid for in full are protected from price increases. In the event of Aviair introducing a special
offer or rates that are discounted against the adult fare, retrospective refunds will not be permitted.
