T igerair Australia Launches Latest Product Innovation: ‘MoveMe’, An Affordable And

Convenient Way For Customers To Change Flights On Short Notice.

Tigerair Australia is pleased to introduce MoveMe, a new product that gives passengers an affordable and convenient way to change their Tigerair flights on short notice.

For a small fee, MoveMe gives Tigerair customers who arrive early or late to the airport the option of transferring to another service on the same route without incurring any additional change fees. MoveMe is available on Tigerair services between Melbourne, Sydney and

Brisbane, provided that sufficient seats are available and the replacement flight is on the same day of travel.

MoveMe customers running late for their flight have up until 15 minutes after their original scheduled time of departure to approach the Tigerair check-in counters and be moved to the next available flight free of charge.

Alternatively, ‘early birds’ who have purchased MoveMe are able to move to an earlier flight if they wish. MoveMe customers who are running early are required to present at the check-in desk for the earlier flight no earlier than two hours prior to the earlier departure time and no later than 45 minutes before the earlier flight ’s departure time.*

MoveMe can be purchased for $12 one way during the online booking process or post booking, via ‘Manage My Booking’ on tigerair.com.au up until 72 hours prior to departure.

Tigerair Australia Commercial Director Adam Rowe says: “MoveMe will help take the stress out of flying for those who may need to change their plans and offers peace of mind for those who may occasionally run late.

“Essentially, MoveMe is a low cost version of a “flexi fare” for same day travel on selected routes where we have the most frequency and will likely be popular with passengers who are unsure about which flight they want to take on the day and passengers who have booked in advance and need to change their plans.

“MoveMe is designed to make it easier, more convenient and seamless to fly Tigerair than ever before.

“Tigerair Australia continues to strengthen its operational performance. In 2015, Tigerair

Australia led the low cost carrier market in on time performance and had a cancellation rate which was three times more reliable than our key competitor on like for like routes, along with record-high levels of customer satisfaction^, ” Mr Rowe adds.

*Customers wanting to use MoveMe must present to check-in staff at the airport on day of departure to make their preferred alternate travel arrangement. MoveMe flight changes cannot be actioned online or via the Tigerair call centre.

^Results from the most recent independent Tigerair Australia customer satisfaction survey in

December indicated that overall customer satisfaction was at 75%, an equal record high for the airline.

MoveMe can only be used to transfer once for the flight sector it was purchased for. MoveMe is only available for purchase from selected destinations and departure ports. MoveMe does not guarantee you a transfer to another flight. Transfers to another flight will be subject to operational factors and seat availability. If you have purchased MoveMe on the first flight of the day you will not be able to move to an earlier service. If you have purchased MoveMe on the last flight of the day you will not be able to move to a later service. MoveMe only allows you to move to another flight on the day of your scheduled flights departure. MoveMe can only be used at the checkin counter at the airport of departure on the date of departure. Flight transfers cannot be made online or via the Call

Centre. If you wish to change your flight in advance of arriving at the Airport the standard change fees apply. If you have purchased

MoveMe and decided to change your flight booking, you are permitted to use your MoveMe product on your new flight, provided the new departure is outside of 72hours and on an applicable MoveMe flight route. If you change your flight booking within 72hours of your original flight booking’s scheduled departure, you will forfeit your MoveMe product without a refund. The MoveMe product can only be transferred to selected flights on which the Move Me product is available. If you change your booking and the MoveMe product is not available on your updated flight booking, then your MoveMe product will be forfeit without refund. If you wish to move to an earlier flight check in must still be open for the earlier flight and sufficient seats must be available. Our flights close for checkin strictly 45 minutes prior to departure and cannot be reopened. To use MoveMe on a later flight you must approach the check in counter no later than 15 minutes after your scheduled flight’s departure time and you will be moved to the next available flight free of charge. Check in must still be open for the later flight and sufficient seats must be available. Tigerair’s flights close for check-in strictly 45 minutes prior to departure and cannot be reopened. If you fail to check in and be transferred to the next available flight within 15 mins after your scheduled flight has departed, you will forfeit your ticket. You will not be entitled to a refund of your fare or the MoveMe fee. You will be required to purchase a new ticket. If you have purchased MoveMe, however do not use the product you will not be entitled to a refund of the MoveMe fee. If you choose to use MoveMe and move to another flight, and then fail to travel on the new flight, your ticket will be forfeited. You will not be entitled to a refund of your fare or the MoveMe fee. You will be required to purchase a new flight. If you wish to move to an earlier flight the flight must be closed for sale to the public (flights close for sale to the public 2 hours prior to the scheduled departure time of the flight).
