The Gorge

The Gorge, known for its incredible mountain biking, also has great trails for walking, snowshoeing and hiking all year long. A bike skills park was recently installed at the Gladys Porter entrance for practice before entering the Gorge or just for fun.

Rails to Trails

The Kentville Trail is 7km of maintained abandoned rail line that enables Town of Kentville residents and visitors to be active all year long by walking, running, biking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing! The trail runs from one end of town to the other with many access points to the down town area and recreational facilities

Ducks Unlimited Miner’s Marsh

Miner’s Marsh is found in a wetland habitat constructed by Ducks Unlimited Canada which supports a variety and abundance of wildlife. The protected site also includes 1.7 kms of maintained trail ideal for cycling, walking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The site is complete with viewing stands, picnic tables and interpretive signage which makes it an ideal location for birdwatchers, and nature enthusiasts

Ravine Trail

The Ravine Trail winds past a small pond, a waterfall, and over many small streams. Hiking in Kentville provides the experience of being lost in nature among hemlock growth over 250 years old, but access to the trails is actually very close to the center of Town.

4X Trail

The new 4X bike track is a bike racing trail that combines elements of BMX racing with mountain biking. The tracks are fast, technical and extremely fun! The course for Kentville’s Burgher Hill was specially designed with riders of all ages and abilities in mind. The track includes features like bridges, a rock garden, rollers, berms and jumps. A raised start ramp helps riders get off to a fast start!

Memorial Park

Kentville Memorial Park is one of Kentville’s most valued recreational spaces. It is located approximately one km from
