Overview
Thank you for allowing us to introduce the Kentville Centennial Arena to you. The facility was built in 1968 and opened to the public in 1969. Centrally located in the Downtown Kentville Core our facility is easy to access, combine that with years of upgrades to make our facility fit the needs of all users we feel once you review all the attached information that you will consider the Kentville Centennial Arena as a good destination for your event.

Kentville Centennial Arena is located at 120 Webster Street, Kentville Nova Scotia easily accessible from Highway 101 exits 12, 13 and 14.

The building is a single entrance building with 4 entrance doors on the East end of the building. There are 2 large exterior doors for loading and unloading of equipment, one of the West end of the building as well as one off the North side of the building. Both loading doors are easily accessible with ground level access.

Portable Bleachers – Available upon request. One single set of aluminum bleachers can accommodate up to 50 people and we have 6 at our disposal.
Common Chairs – the facility has 700 plastic concert chairs on site.
Tables - 110 - 8ft tables available on site
Stage – we have the ability to build a stage based on the demands of the event.
Loading Doors – we have 1 - 25 foot loading door for access to floor and 1- 10 foot loading door again for ground access to the floor.
Power – primary event power is located at the West end of the building on the North corner. We have 2 – 400amp services available, 2 200 amp services as well as 300ft of event extension cords with built in 110v power plugs for floor power.
Wireless Internet – facility is equipped with Bell Fiber wireless internet connection as well as 6 different ports available for plug in options.
Dressing rooms – 5 full size dressing rooms with rubber matting
Sound System – overhead sound system
Canteen Services – facility equipped with full service canteen
Accessibility – arena is fully accessible (entry, washrooms and floor) are all accessible for those with mobility issues

The Gorge
The Gorge, known for its incredible mountain biking, also has great trails for walking, snowshoeing and hiking all year long. A bike skills park was recently installed at the Gladys Porter entrance for practice before entering the Gorge or just for fun.
Rails to Trails
The Kentville Trail is 7km of maintained abandoned rail line that enables Town of Kentville residents and visitors to be active all year long by walking, running, biking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing! The trail runs from one end of town to the other with many access points to the down town area and recreational facilities
Ducks Unlimited Miner’s Marsh
Miner’s Marsh is found in a wetland habitat constructed by Ducks Unlimited Canada which supports a variety and abundance of wildlife. The protected site also includes 1.7 kms of maintained trail ideal for cycling, walking, snowshoeing and cross country skiing. The site is complete with viewing stands, picnic tables and interpretive signage which makes it an ideal location for birdwatchers, and nature enthusiasts
Ravine Trail
The Ravine Trail winds past a small pond, a waterfall, and over many small streams. Hiking in Kentville provides the experience of being lost in nature among hemlock growth over 250 years old, but access to the trails is actually very close to the center of Town.
4X Trail
The new 4X bike track is a bike racing trail that combines elements of BMX racing with mountain biking. The tracks are fast, technical and extremely fun! The course for Kentville’s Burgher Hill was specially designed with riders of all ages and abilities in mind. The track includes features like bridges, a rock garden, rollers, berms and jumps. A raised start ramp helps riders get off to a fast start!

Kentville Memorial Park is one of Kentville’s most valued recreational spaces. It is located approximately one km from

down town Kentville and is centrally located. The park offers houses amenities such as Tennis Courts, Basketball Courts,
Ball Fields, Outdoor Pool Complex, Soccer Fields, Frog Pond, The Valley Indoor Sports and Events Centre, and last but not least the Walter Wood Playground.
Oakdene Park
Oakdene Park is a neighborhood park located in North Kentville. It is made up of a large open space with 2 soccer fields, a storage shed, a playground area and a duck pond that can also be used for skating in the winter time. Oakdene park is unfenced and unlighted but has enjoyable trails and footpaths, perfect for walking, cross country skiing and tobogganing
