This manual describes legal requests and compliance information to the related regulations.

FCC Notice
This product complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following

pursuant to Part 15 of the FCC Rules. These limits are designed to provide reasonable

FCC RF exposure Information
The exposure standard for mobile phone employs a unit of measurement known as the Specific
Absorption Rate, or SAR. The SAR limit set by the FCC is 1 . 6 W/kg.
This product has a low RF power, therefore is exempted from the SAR test set by the FCC.

Using Bluetooth ®
• This product has the security function that complies with the standard specification of
Bluetooth . However, the security level may be insufficient depending on the actual settings.
Pay close attention when communicating by using the Bluetooth function.
• We do not incur any responsibility when data and/or information are leaked while the use of
the Bluetooth function.
• In some countries, use of Bluetooth is restricted. Please check the laws and regulations of the
country of intended use prior to using Bluetooth .
Using Wireless LAN
• The wireless LAN uses radio wave to communicate the information; therefore, it is one
advantage that LAN connection is available freely within the area where the radio wave can
be reached. At the same time, there are possibilities that any third party with ill intention
can intercept the communication contents and/or gain access to the information if the
security is not set. It is recommended that the customer sets the security and use the product
under the customer s own judgment and responsibility.
• Available channels on this device are different by country.
• In some countries, use of wireless LAN is restricted. Check in advance the laws and regulations
of the country and region in which the WLAN is intended to be used.
Disposal Information
Disposal of the device and accessories
Disposal may be regulated in your community due to environmental considerations. Please
dispose them in accordance with your company rules in line with the local laws.
Regarding recycling of lithium-ion batteries
Lithium-ion batteries can be recycled. Please recycle them in accordance with your company

Amendment

damage or trouble of the client or the third party caused by not using the latest version of

Prohibited matter
• The client shall not copy, modify, reverse engineer (the processes of analyzing software or
hardware and transforming it into a format readable by humans), decompile or disassemble
all or a part of the product.
• The client shall not license, sell, lend, transfer, disclose or lease the product to any third
party.
• The client shall not delete or change the notice of copyright or other rights indicated on the
product.
• The client shall not disclose or leak our technical information obtained concerning the
product to any third party and shall not use the information for any other purposes than
these provisions.
• The client shall not reproduce or copy all or a part of the product, this document and the
instruction manual, etc. without our permission.
End-user License Agreement
The rights to this product and software included in the attached media (hereinafter called
this software ) are the properties of WESTUNITIS Co., Ltd., the supplier, and the licenser.
WESTUNITIS Co., Ltd. grants a limited and non-proprietary license for this software
(hereinafter called this license ) to the customer, reserved for use with this product only.
Rights of this software are not to be resold, transferred, or assigned in any way.
The customer is under no circumstances allowed to decode this software's source code or
components, nor are they allowed to reproduce, redistribute, or modify this software.
The customer may only transfer the rights or obligations regarding this software to a third
party when this software is transferred along with this product and the approved third party
expresses the compliance to the conditions of this license in writing.
This license is valid as long as the product is used by the customer.
This license can be terminated when this product, along with the customer's rights, is transferred
by means of an agreement with a third party in a written form.
Should the customer violate any part of this contract, this license is immediately and
automatically terminated.
All rights, titles, and interests in this software belong to WESTUNITIS Co., Ltd., the supplier,
and the licenser.
If the supplier or licensor holds rights to the raw materials or code included in this software,
then in that instance, the involved supplier or licensor will become the beneficiary of this
contract, limited to the aforementioned materials or code.
This contract is governed by the domestic law.
Where applicable, the aforementioned domestic law is also applied to the legal rights of the
consumers.
Should additional conditions apply regarding this software, those conditions in addition to the
articles of this contract apply to the customer's ownership and use of this software.
Export Regulations
This product, its accessories, software, and included technical data, are subject to U.S. export
control laws, including the U.S. Export Administration Act and its associated regulations. To
export and re-export this product and its accessories and software, take the required measures
on your responsibility and at your expenses. For details of the procedures, contact the U.S.
Department of Commerce.

Copyright and Usage of Likeness Information
All text, images, music, software, or other content copyrighted by a third party that is
recorded, downloaded, or otherwise acquired using this product or from web sites on
the Internet may not be reproduced, altered, or otherwise distributed to the general
public without a consent from the owner of the copyright, except in cases of
reproduction for personal use or reference as permitted by the Japanese Copyright Act.
Furthermore, refrain from using this product to take pictures of others without their
consent or publish recordings of others to the general public such as by uploading to a
web site without their consents. Such actions may violate the image rights of others.
