Town & Country Federal Credit Union has selected a new credit card processor. We are making this change in order to provide our members’ future access to new and innovative credit card product offerings, 24-­‐hour member service phone support staff, and further protect accounts with state-­‐of-­‐the-­‐art security features. What will change? Beginning October 29, 2010 you will be receiving a new Town & Country FCU Platinum Visa Credit card with a new expiration date. You will now have 24x7 access to your Visa credit card information. Your statement will have a new look and you will need to re-­‐register for online access to your Visa credit card information. Your regular Town & Country FCU online banking access will NOT change. Can I still contact Town & Country with VISA credit card questions? Yes. During regular business hours you will reach the Town & County call center staff. Now you’ll be able to have your credit card account questions answered after business hours. Just call Town & Country at 800-­‐649-­‐3495 and a representative will be available to assist you with any Town & Country Platinum VISA credit card questions you may have. Will my credit card rate or terms and conditions change? No. Your credit card rate and terms and conditions, such as grace period and late fees, will remain the same as stated in the disclosure you received when you opened your Town & Country Platinum VISA account. How do I update my billing address and phone number? Notify Town & Country Federal Credit Union in writing of any changes to your address or phone number so that we may correct the information on all your Town & Country accounts, including your Platinum VISA account(s). Can I use my Town & Country Platinum VISA credit card for a cash advance? Yes. You can use your Town & Country Platinum VISA card for a cash advance by visiting a Town & Country branch or by utilizing an ATM. Transactions conducted at an ATM require a PIN (personal identification number). To select a unique PIN, visit a Town & Country branch in person. For a system generated PIN, contact Town & Country by phone and one will be mailed to you. How do I dispute a merchant charge? To dispute a charge on your statement, submit the request in writing to Town & Country Federal Credit Union, P.O. Box 9420, South Portland, ME 04116-­‐9420, send an email to info@tcfcu.com or call 800-­‐649-­‐3495 or 207-­‐773-­‐
5656. How can I apply for credit card increases? Contact Town & Country Federal Credit Union at 800-­‐649-­‐3495 / 207-­‐773-­‐5656, online at www.tcfcu.com or visit any Town & Country branch location. When will my payment be due? The payment-­‐due date will be listed on your statement. We suggest making your payment a few days prior to the due date. If mailing your payment, please allow extra time for the payment to reach the payment center in South Portland, ME. How can I get a replacement card? Replacement cards can be obtained by contacting Town & Country at 800-­‐649-­‐3495 or 207-­‐773-­‐5656. If I pay via the mail will I still send my VISA payments directly to Town & Country Federal Credit Union? Yes. Platinum VISA credit card payments should be mailed to: Town & Country Federal Credit Union P.O. Box 9420 South Portland, ME 04116-­‐9420 Simply detach the top of your paper statement and mail it back in the reply envelope which will be included with your statement. Be sure the name and address information is properly shown through the appropriate windows, and allow ample time for the mail to reach Town & Country on or in advance of the payment-­‐due date. Payments received at the mailing address will be credited to your account as of the day of receipt. Payments received at any other location may be subject to a delay in crediting of up to 5 days after the date of receipt. Will my automatic VISA credit card payment change? No. Your automatic payments will not change. As with any change unforeseen things can happen so you will want to check your statement to be sure that your payment has been applied correctly. If you find that there has been an error please contact the card services department at (800) 649-­‐3495 to get this resolved. When will I be able to use my new card? You will begin using your new card as of November 14, 2010. When will my old card stop working? Your existing card will stop working as of November 13, 2010 What will happen to any existing balance? Your existing balance will be transferred with your card to the new processor. How will I know which card is the new card? The expiration date on your new card will change to a date further out than your existing card. What if I do not get my new card? Contact the Credit Union at (800) 649-­‐3495. The expiration date on my old card is still valid; do I have to use the new card? Yes. If you wish to continue to use your Town & Country FCU Platinum Visa credit card, you will need to activate your new card. A Will I still be able to make VISA payments online? Yes. You will still be able to make your payment just as you always have through Town & Country FCU’s online banking by visiting www.tcfcu.com and clicking on the online banking link. If you had made your payments in the past using Visa Online you will need to re-­‐register your card on the new MyCardInfo site. To do this, go to www.tcfcu.com and clink on the MyCardInfo link. How do I complete the one-­‐time enrollment process to access my VISA credit card account online? To access your VISA account online for the first time, you will need to complete a one-­‐time enrollment process as follows: 1. 1 Visit the secure website at https://tcfcu.mycardinfo.com/. Note: There will also be links from www.tcfcu.com and within Town & Country’s Online Banking website to help you navigate to the correct URL 2. 2 Enter your Credit Card Number and click “Enroll” 3. 3 Enter your Account Information and click “Continue” 4. 4 Create your Username and Password according to the Enrollment Requirements on the screen. Click “Continue” 5. 5 To disable keystroke tracking software your VISA account utilizes a Personal Security Code. Please use your mouse and click a Personal Security Code and then confirm the code a second time. Click “Continue” 6.
Please select two security questions and enter their answers. These should be answers that are easy for you to remember. They can be used to reset your password and help you should you forget certain enrollment criteria. Click “Continue” 7. 7 If the computer you are currently enrolling your account on is where you will typically login to your account, authorize the computer. You should only authorize the computer if it is a trusted location and not one with public access. Click on “Authorize” or “Do Not Authorize” 8. 8You will now be on the Account Overview Screen and can navigate the site to view your current account activity and statements How do I access my VISA account online after I complete the one-­‐time enrollment? In order to access your Platinum VISA credit card account on future visits, you can: 1. 1 Visit www.tcfcu.com and click mycardinfo.com 2. 2 Enter your User Name and click “Login” 3. 3 Enter your Password and Personal Security Code and click “Login” 4. 4 You will enter the Account Overview screen. To view your statements, click on “Statement History” from the top navigational menu What additional features are available at https://tcfcu.mycardinfo.com/? In addition to viewing statement history, you can also view current balance information, payment information, and current and historical transaction activity; make a payment and view payment history; find contact information; and download account transactions into multiple formats.
