The temperature-rise test was performed at the minimum functional gauge pressure of the switchgear (0,08MPa at 20 °C in the circuit-breaker compartment and 0,03MPa at 20°C in the busbar compartment). 5. Varnished were the aluminium chambers of the panel No. 11 (see photo No. 1 and No. 2). 6. Black varnished were the following parts or zones of the current path in panel No. 11: - the cooling sheet at the upper connection of the vacuum tube - the cooling sheets in the intermediate chamber and - the outer surfaces of the external copper bars in the intermediate chamber.
