Operating Systems (OS) Windows Windows 2000 supported Windows 2003 supported Windows 2008 supported Windows 7 supported The 64-bits versions of Windows 2008 and Windows 7 are also supported. Web Servers Efficy requires one of the following web servers: IIS or Apache. Internet Information Services IIS 5 supported IIS 6 supported IIS 7 supported Apache Apache 2.0 supported Recommended version: up to version 2.0.55; more recent versions can behave inconsistently Relational Database Management Systems (RDBMS) Efficy supports databases of the following types: Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server and Firebird. The 64-bit version of Firebird 2.1 is also supported (on a Windows 64 bit server). Internet Explorer IE5 incompatible IE5.5 supported* IE6 supported* IE7 supported IE8 recommended * In IE 5.5 and IE 6, core functionalities are available but the visual experience is not always optimal. It is recommended to upgrade your Internet Explorer browser. IE 64 bits will not correctly install the Efficy ActiveX that are in 32 bits. We recommend using IE 32 bits or forcing the use of the Java Applet if you wish to continue using IE 64 bits. Microsoft Entourage for Mac OS X Entourage 2004 supported Entourage 2008 recommended Apple Mail (Mac OS X Mail) OS X 10.4 Tiger to be tested OS X 10.5 Leopard supported OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard recommended Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) Any PDA or Smartphone that is synchronized with Outlook/Exchange or Lotus will work fine with Efficy. BlackBerry supported HTC supported iPhone supported Windows Mobile Devices supported Telephony Integration (CTI) The only requirement for the CTI integration is the presence of a TAPI driver on the client workstation. Therefore, the CTI integration will work with any type of telephone exchange and device (including softphone), provided they offer a client TAPI interface.
