Seasoned with years of experience, RDK is active on both a national and local level
with ASHRAE. RDK’s engineers are intimately familiar with Energy Auditing procedures and have contributed to the national ASHRAE handbooks, guidelines, and
standards. In addition, RDK’s staff maintains positions on several ASHRAE national
technical committees. With a focus on carbon emissions mitigation, RDK has
expanded its building standards to complement the ASHRAE guidelines for Energy
Audits.
RDK is also a corporate member of the U.S. Green Building Council, demonstrating
its commitment to Sustainable Design. RDK’s century of innovative building systems
design includes pioneering the use of technologies, such as radiant floors for heating, more than 50 years ago. RDK has evaluated the use of a wide variety of cutting
edge, environmentally conscious technologies for projects in many industries. RDK
has designed systems that are not only practical, but also cost effective, and have
supported the achievement of clients’ LEED certification goals. RDK has completed
the design of 100+ LEED Certified buildings to date.
