Introduction
No more dangerous and messy cables, the Charge and Start allows you to jump
start your car without the need to lift the bonnet. Simply plug one end of the Charge
and Start into the 12V cigarette lighter socket of each car and you’ll be able to drive
away in as little as 5 minutes.
WARNING:
To avoid the risk of blowing your cigarette lighter fuse, disconnect plugs from
the cigarette lighter sockets of both vehicles before starting vehicle with flat
battery.

Usage
1. Insert your Charge and Start into the cigarette lighter receptacle of the car
with the flat battery ensuring the switch is set to test.
2. Insert the other plug into the cigarette lighter receptacle of the car with the
good battery.
3. Turn the ignition key to the off position in the car with the flat battery (make
sure the key is in the lock position). The test light on your Charge and Start
will turn green and the charge light will turn red. This indicates a good
connection between the two cars.
4. After both lights are lit, flick the switch on the Charge and Start to the charge
position.
5. Start the engine of the car with the good battery. Leave it running to charge
the flat battery. The car with the dead battery does not need to be started at
this point. The chart below indicates the time required to achieve optimum
results. For best results, press the accelerator slightly on the car with the good
battery while your Charge and Start is running.
6. Having charged the battery for the proper amount of time, in accordance with
the table below, disconnect your Charge and Start from both cars. You are
now ready to start the engine of the car with the previously flat battery.
