Close your uncertainty gap with
HRAM (high-resolution accurate-mass)
spectrometry
Today’s forensic toxicology and clinical
research laboratory demands more application
versatility, data accuracy, and value from
the LC-MS systems used for targeted
compound screening, quantitation, metabolite
identification, as well as the ability to
identify true unknown compounds.
Confident unknown identification, compound
screening, confirmation, and quantification is
easier and more affordable than ever before.
The value-priced, industry-proven Thermo
Scientific™ ScreenID HRAM™ system bundle
is built on the Thermo Scientific™ Q Exactive™
Focus hybrid quadrupole-Orbitrap mass
spectrometer, Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™
UltiMate™ 3000 RSLC system, and the Thermo
Scientific™ High-Resolution Accurate-Mass
MS/MS Spectral Libraries.
Orbitrap technology
Why do you need HRAM?
High resolution and mass accuracy are important for improving analytical
sensitivity, data selectivity, and accuracy in analysis of biological matrices.
Furthermore, high-resolution accurate-mass analytical methods minimize false
detection for analytes of interest and improve confidence in identification of
known and unknown compounds. Accurate quantitation relies on resolving
the compound of interest from complex biological matrix, and high resolving
power will make the difference between detecting and not detecting analytes
at low concentrations due to the masking effect of isobaric interferences.
While Time-of-flight (TOF) technology has also been long used for compound
screening and quantitation, can suffer from lower dynamic range, inadequate
resolution and mass accuracy (requires a lock mass) and therefore limited
selectivity. Limited selectivity results in increased matrix interferences, causing
false detection of analytes of interest and inaccurate quantitation.
The Screen ID HRAM system bundle includes a proven combination of HRAM
mass spectrometer and UHPLC designed to deliver forensic and clinical
research application versatility and superior performance. With the combination
of stable mass calibration, low maintenance requirements, unmatched flow rate
range and simple method development, the ScreenID HRAM system provides
a reliable, easy-to-use solution for forensic and clinical research lab work.
Acquire answers easily, from analytical method
design to data analysis
ScreenID HRAM includes two software solutions—Thermo Scientific™
ToxFinder™ easy-to-use data processing software with streamlined workflows
for targeted compound screening applications, and Thermo Scientific™
TraceFinder™ software, which provides a flexible workflow-driven method setup
with fully automated data acquisition, data processing, and reporting for a wide
range of applications including quantitation, targeted and unknown unknown
compound screening applications.
Maximize productivity - set up forensic and clinical
research applications readily
To speed deployment, the ScreenID HRAM system bundle includes three days
of onsite training (North America only).
Identify a broad range of compounds rapidly
Identification of a broad range of compounds is faster and more reliable with
the High-Resolution Accurate-Mass MS/MS Spectral Libraries. The libraries
include multiple spectra of 2500 drugs of abuse, veterinary drugs, therapeutic
drugs, environmental toxins and mycotoxins.
