Guardian login to the Home Access Center
1.
Go to home.tamdistrict.org
2.
Click on the “account registration” button.
3.
Fill out the personal information requested. Use YOUR city and YOUR zip code. Click the
“Register” button.
4.
Select a username. This is NOT the same as your email address.
5.
Review the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. Click the “Finish” button to agree to both
policies.
6.
A temporary password will be sent to the email address that you registered with the school. Note
that email providers process messages at different speeds. If the email doesn’t arrive, check the
SPAM/JUNK/BULK folders in your email. Please email homeaccess@tamdistrict.org if you do not
receive your password.
7.
Return to home.tamdistrict.org and login with your username and temporary password.
8.
Begin by changing your temporary password. Click on “My Profile” in the upper right hand
corner and change your password. It must be at least eight characters long.
9.
When viewing information on the “Classwork” page please choose “ALL RUNS” from the “for
Report Card Run” drop-down menu at the top of the page. You may have to do this each time to
see an accurate class grade.
10. When you are done using the Home Access Center click the “Exit” button in the upper right
hand corner.
What information does the Tam District’s Home Access Center provide?
This password-protected website provides students and guardians with access to registration,
attendance, course grades, schedules, and assignments. Not all teachers use the Home Access
Center to share grades and/or assignment information. Please confirm this information with your child’s
teachers.
My Home Access Center password wasn’t emailed to me- What should I do?
1. Check the SPAM/JUNK/BULK folders in your email account. The subject line will read “Home
Access Center Registration.”
2. Verify that the school is aware of your current email address.
3. If you still need help please send an email to homeaccess@tamdistrict.org.
Two important things you should know about the Home Access Center
1. Classwork page – always choose “ALL RUNS” from the “for Report Card Run” drop down menu at
the top of the page. You may have to do this each time to see an accurate class grade.
2. Logging out – when you are done with the Home Access Center, click the EXIT link in the upper
right-hand corner. Closing the browser does not log you out.
FYI
 Not all teachers share grades and/or assignment information via the Home Access Center-ask
teachers how you can stay informed about individual student performance and schoolwork.
 Teachers who use the system will update grades at various intervals at their discretion.
 Check teacher’s policies if you have a question about the grades that you see online.
