Tegan Lighting offers a wide variety of drivers that are compatible with Monopoints
and Systems for various layouts. Specify 0-10V dimming controls with dimming LED
drivers. Refer to the linked driver specification sheets in the charts on page 4 for details.

12VAC
Transformers:
Tegan Lighting offers a variety of electronic & magnetic transformers that are compatible
with the Monopoints and Systems for various layouts. Refer to the linked chart on page 3
for specification details. Specify LVE controls with electronic halogen transformers and
MLV controls with magnetic transformers. Note: Maximum remote mount distance for
electronic transformers is 10’. Contact transformer manufacturer for more details.

Enclosures:
Small - 7” H x 5” W x 2” D - Remote Power Supply Enclosure (SRPSE).
Large - 13” H x 8” W x 3” D - Remote Power Supply Enclosure (LRPSE).
Remote mounting the power supply provides a clean minimalist aesthetic will result in a noise free installation. Install the power supply in an accessible remote location such as a
closet or above a ceiling tile. Installing contractor to leave a minimum of 4” clearance
around enclosure. Electrical contractor to connect electrical wire from the transformer to
the system power feed utilizing the correct gauge to provide the proper voltage at the Systems/Monopoints. The wire gauge used to supply power to the trac should be sized
according to the distance between the transformer and the trac. Enclosure and power
supply are provided as a kit. Qtran transformer provided with an enclosure, Tegan
enclosure not needed.

Remote Power Supplies are required for all Spotlights and Luminaires with the specified
Trac, Cable or Monopoint system(s) - except Surface Mount, Recessed Enclosure Monopoints and Decorative Power Supply with integral drivers/transformers. Refer to these

Centro Trac System (CTS), Retrac System (RTS), Duplex Cable System (DCS), Monopoint

Remote Mount Distance: An AC (alternating current) electronic transformer should not be placed any farther than 10 feet from the lighting system.
If it should be placed farther away than 10 feet from the lighting system, part or all of the lighting system will experience a lower voltage (known as
voltage drop) and may result in dimmer lamps. Also, the longer the distance from the AC electronic transformer and the lighting system, the greater
the chance that it might create radio frequency interference (RFI) with other electronic components in the area. Refer to the manufacturers’ Spec
sheet(s) for remote mount distances.
