OLYMPIC TRAINING CENTER EXPERIENCE
USA Swimming, in association with the United States Olympic Training Center in
Colorado Springs, Colorado, offers outstanding swimmers and others a unique
experience. This experience includes opportunities for specialized training, education,
and meeting facilities.
Any USA Swimming programs (to include club, university/college, LSC programs,
National Team programs, and conferences/clinics) wishing to utilize ANY OTC facility
must complete this application form to be eligible for this great training opportunity. ALL
applications will be prioritized based on the level of swimmer(s) attending, type of
program request, then by the date of application submission. Participant
numbers are also taken into consideration.
Plan your program 12 to 18 months in advance. Application for training must be
made at least six (6) months in advance. DO NOT BOOK airfare until you have
received your approval from USA Swimming.
Training Eligibility
 Athletes must be a minimum of 12 years old. A ratio of one staff member for every
ten athletes is required.
 Teams, athletes, coaches, managers, and chaperones must be current USA
Swimming members. University teams must hold USA Swimming team
membership in the university's name, and athletes in attendance may be registered
as unattached, or with the university team or their home team/LSC.
Training Length
 Olympic Training Center approves any program for one day up to 31 days duration
as the master schedule allows.
Transportation
 Transportation to and from Colorado Springs is the responsibility of the team, club,
LSC, or individual athlete. Upon arrival in Colorado Springs, the USOC will provide
transportation between the airport and the OTC. Transportation from Denver
International Airport is the responsibility of the program as the USOC
Transportation Service does not extend outside the Colorado Springs area.
